Something I’ve been trying to focus on lately is slowing down. It’s so easy for me to let my days swallow me as I go from one thing to the next. While I often can’t slow down with obligations like cleaning, laundry, cooking, and homeschooling… I can have an attitude that is slower and more present. I can look for ways to simplify my daily life.

Taking a Laundry Basket to the Post Office and Our Dog to the Library
A laundry basket at the post office? Why? Because I can’t hold Mordecai and Etsy packages at the same time 😂
Thankfully I have a little assistant who is always willing to join me on my errands. Especially because the postal workers always hand out lollipops to kids. Also, look at this post for a picture of Sadie as a toddler joining me at the post office. How is she growing up so fast? (more…)
