About me

Hi, I’m Allie! I’m so happy you’re here. 💛

Mom sitting in grass with baby

I’m a Christian wife, mom of three, author, baker, and blogger living near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with my husband Jimmy, our children, and our pets.

I started Living My Full Life back in 2010 while studying journalism at Penn State. What began as a simple college lifestyle blog has grown with me through so many seasons of life: marriage, motherhood, faith, homeschooling, baking adventures, writing books, and learning to embrace the beauty of ordinary days.

These days, you’ll usually find me:

My faith in Jesus is the foundation of everything I do, and I hope this space encourages you to slow down, savor the little things, and remember that God is present in both the joyful moments and the hard ones too.

Here on the blog, you’ll find:

One of my favorite verses and the inspiration behind this blog name is John 10:10:

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

That’s my hope for this space: to live fully for Jesus and encourage others to do the same.

A Few Fun Facts About Me

  • I absolutely love baking and recipe creating.
  • I could spend hours wandering bookstores and thrift shops.
  • Cozy evenings at home are my favorite.
  • I’m passionate about encouraging women and children in their faith.
  • I genuinely get excited about things like fresh notebooks, a good pen, and grocery shopping alone. 🤣

My Books

One of my favorite creative outlets is writing. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of publishing several books across different genres, all rooted in encouragement, faith, and creativity.

My published books include:

No matter what I’m writing, my hope is always the same: to create meaningful, encouraging resources that help people grow in faith, find hope, and feel less alone in the everyday moments of life.

My children’s book, What’s True About You, holds an especially special place in my heart. It was written to remind children of their identity in Christ and the unchanging truth of God’s love for them.

I’m excited to continue writing books that encourage families, women, and children for years to come.

Thank you so much for being here and supporting my little corner of the internet. Whether you came for a recipe, a devotional, a parenting post, or just a peek into everyday life, I’m truly glad you stopped by.

If you have any questions or just want to talk, please feel free to leave a comment. I read and try to reply to every single one. Want to learn more about me and my life? Check out the Big Q&A Post!

  10. Hi Allie,

Just happened upon your site. Was curious for your take on the controversy at Penn State since you are a journalism major, and this is probably the biggest news story to ever hit State College.
I’ve traveled to Penn State numerous times working on NASA projects and in the visits I learned first hand how much power and authority Joe Pa wields at PSU. Just curious as to the mood of the campus and students.

    Thanks,
    Lang

  11. Hey there! I wanted to say hi so if you saw a new person following your blog, you didn’t think I was some random creeper. I found you off someone else’s blog and thought you seem really smart and interesting. I’m a long-distance runner and friend-of-the-gym as well. I don’t really use my blog on here much, since it was ruined by having to keep a blog for a class, but I love following people and maybe someday I’ll start writing again. Cheers!

  12. Heya! It’s great to see a fellow Christian blogging here. Nice to meet you, hope to hear more from you soon! (:
