About me

Hi, I’m Allie. It’s nice to meet you!

Mom and son at first birthday party

I live in Pittsburgh with my cute husband, our daughter, son, handsome black cat, Malcolm, and escape artist Siberian Husky, Niva

I’m a Christian, and I try my very best to keep God at the forefront of my life. My faith means everything to me.

I am also a Penn State grad, with a degree in journalism. Writing is one of my favorite creative outlets, along with scrapbooking and photography.

My other passions include reading, sharing God’s love in any way possible, baking, all things animal-related, and archery.

I work as a marketer for a real estate brokerage, run a home bakery, write books(!!) and homeschool my daughter.

I created this blog in 2010, and have blogged through different life stages over the years including college, illness, marriage, internships, home buying, therapy dog training, pregnancy, and motherhood.

2023 highlights

The reason I blog is to connect with others and share what I’m passionate about.

My blog name came from one of my favorite scriptures.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10

I was inspired to name my blog Living My Full Life because I want to do just that–live life to the full for Jesus. I want to do whatever God has for me to do, and live the live He has given me to the full. My blog should reflect and document that, as I hope it has since day one!

If you have any questions or just want to talk, please feel free to email me at alliezottola (at) gmail (dot) com.

Thanks for stopping by!

  10. Hi Allie,

Just happened upon your site. Was curious for your take on the controversy at Penn State since you are a journalism major, and this is probably the biggest news story to ever hit State College.
I’ve traveled to Penn State numerous times working on NASA projects and in the visits I learned first hand how much power and authority Joe Pa wields at PSU. Just curious as to the mood of the campus and students.

    Thanks,
    Lang

  11. Hey there! I wanted to say hi so if you saw a new person following your blog, you didn’t think I was some random creeper. I found you off someone else’s blog and thought you seem really smart and interesting. I’m a long-distance runner and friend-of-the-gym as well. I don’t really use my blog on here much, since it was ruined by having to keep a blog for a class, but I love following people and maybe someday I’ll start writing again. Cheers!

  12. Heya! It’s great to see a fellow Christian blogging here. Nice to meet you, hope to hear more from you soon! (:

  13. Hi. I’m so delghted I found your blog. I first read about purity rings since I want to get one. I just became a teenager not too long ago. It strengthened my faith and my belief that I have to wait till marriage. I do hope that I’ll be able to wait. Keep up the good work. I’m glad you ended up with Jim. You guys look cute. P.S.. when did he propose if you don’t mind me asking?

  14. I just ran across your blog when searching for “steelers swim cap” for my son. Could you send me a link where I can order a few (dozen :-)?
    Thank you!
    Chad
