I did some pet sitting this past week and it was equal parts fun and wild, as per usual! We had Niva’s husky bestie, Runah, over from Sunday to Wednesday and they had the best time playing, digging up our yard, and even managed to escape our fence together.
They stayed outside in the cool weather a ton (and destroyed the above pictured birdhouse), but also got into Mordecai’s (thankfully unused) diapers while inside.
Whew! Sometimes caring for pets is just as demanding as caring for children. I wouldn’t trade it for the world, though.
Onto the “bro fist” portion of this post. My sister’s youngest son, Titus, always has one arm up with his fist clenched. It looks like he’s doing the “pound it” hand motion and I always call it the bro fist.
We were at church recently and laid Mordecai and Titus side by side on the changing table and Titus instantly did his bro fist.
We were taking pictures of the boys and Mordecai did the bro fist, too! It was too cute 😂
How is the weather where you are? It’s definitely cooling off here on the east coast. In fact, it’s snowing as I type up this post!
I took the kids to the grocery store last week and Mordecai was bundled to the max! I feel like I’ve hardly seen his cute little toes, legs, and arms because I always have him covered in warm clothes 😂
Little buddy had his one month check up at the pediatrician’s office yesterday and everything went well!
What are you up to today? I’m baking gingerbread granola and cranberry orange granola for an order and we’re decorating the gingerbread houses we didn’t get to on our family day!
BRO FIST BUMP! Yeah that’s Titus alright!
Love You!
Dad
🙂
Yay for the cousin bro fist!!
That Niva and Runah are crazies for sure.
I love when the weather is snowy and cozy- like a nut head, but I do.
Have fun doing your gingerbread houses!!
I’m glad Mordecai’s first month check up went well!!
Love you!
I love the bro fist bump!! ha, ha!!! Too cute! Well, I have sick ones at home, so it was a low key day. I did run to Marshall’s and picked up a brand new planner for our upcoming, new year (SO exciting!!!) and worked on my Christmas grocery list. I can’t believe that Christmas is here!!! 🙂
Those little fists are too cute. I love that they are both doing them. Pet sitting for dogs is no joke. I remember getting so exhausted (and stressed) when I used to do it. Granted, I would pet sit at their house and felt so guilty when I would leave for my 8 hour workday! Some days I miss doing it, but most days I do not.
