Here’s what’s current in my life this month!
Current food Salmon. I grilled some up recently and it hit the spot!
Current books Just published a sermon notes journal (!) and Sadie and I have been reading Don’t Forget to Remember, Unicorns and Germs, and I love You When You’re Angry.
Current pet product Niva is shedding her undercoat, so we use a rake on the daily to brush her out. It’s hard to believe the amount of fur that comes off of her body!
Current cuteness Sadie and Mordecai at the park 🩵
Current fun Sadie and I had a girls’ afternoon and got our hair tinseled together!
Current laugh Sadie fell asleep in Mordecai’s ball pit. She has been waking up early lately (around 5:00 am) and then crashing at some point during the day. The ball pit was the crash zone the other day 😂
Current kid products Sadie (and I!) have fun creating things with WikkiStix. They’re so affordable and I feel like they promote creativity. They would be great for screen-free road trips, too. Mordecai loves his Little People Train and this Montessori toy.
Current baked good Chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting. Sadie and I baked them together!
Current beauty product Venus Pure shaving cream. I don’t think I can go back to “regular” shaving cream after using this!
Current blessing Our hot tub is up and running! I repeat: our hot tub is up and running! When we bought it, I assumed we would just plug it in and fill it up but it was a bit more involved that that, ha. We had to build a concrete pad and run electric. We used it for the first time last night and it was glorious!
Current drink I just got on the Spindrift sparkling water bandwagon. It’s delicious! So far, I’ve tried the lemon and grapefruit flavors and liked them both.
Current obsession I’ve been giving our outdoor spaces a little glow up. I added a fresh chair cushions and a fiddle leaf fig tree to our front porch.
Current craving More time to get things done!
Current joy My niece, Olive, was born! I met her recently and she’s just the sweetest, most perfect little thing. It’s wild that four years ago, I had zero nieces and nephews and now I have six. My heart is full!
Current goal Writing, writing, writing. Whenever I get the chance, I try to hit the computer and write my little heart out. I’ve talked to a few people reading my novel and have heard good things so far. So exciting!
Current excitement My nephew’s birthday is this month and yours truly is making his birthday cupcakes! Titus went from a four pound IUGR baby who spent extra time in the hospital to a thriving (almost!) one-year-old and I have absolutely loved watching him grow the past year.

Living My Full Life 
Hi friend!! It has been too long, haha! I cannot believe how big your babies have gotten since I last checked in. Especially Mordecai! So glad to hear everyone is doing so well and to see that there’s another new niece added to the crew! ❤
Aww, thank you so much!! I have been keeping up with reading your blog and trying to comment as much as possible (two kids is a whole different ballgame, right?!). Your babes are so sweet!! I love seeing pictures of them smiling at each other and already being so close! Thanks for catching up on our lives!!

Speaking of spindrift, have you tried Olipop? It’s my favorite sparkling drink and I haven’t looked back, haha!
