Hello and welcome to February! I’m looking forward to Valentine’s Day this month and having a little more daylight with each passing day 🙂

As usual, here’s what’s current in my life this month. Please share what’s up for you this month in the comments!

Current goal Detailing our car. Before I had kids, I always had an immaculate vehicle. Now it’s just crumb city. I need to vacuum our car out and wipe everything down!

Current books I’m reading Outback Midwife and the book of James in the Bible. Sadie and I have been into Itty Bitty Princess Kitty and Princess in Black.

Current prayer Our church family lost someone who was very dear to all of us. Praying for peace and comfort for the whole congregation. I’ve been kind of absent here on the blog because I’m just sad, which I know is okay. Like, I know our sister in Christ is with the Lord, but it’s still hard for everyone who knew and loved her. Just so many emotions and thoughts, but mostly prayers.

Current food I took Jimmy on a surprise date to Alla Famiglia and we had such a lovely dinner! I ordered seafood diavolo and Jimmy had veal chops. We also had salad, pasta, and raspberry tiramisu. The best part was the alone time to chat and not have to clean up!! And nobody was screaming or throwing food on the ground 😂

Current beauty product The Peach & Lily Glass Skin kit. I especially love the matcha pudding cream. It smells so good and Sadie is always interested in the fact that it’s green!

Current baked good Not *technically* a baked good, but I am knee deep in chocolate covered Oreos lately and loving it!

Current craving Planning a trip! I feel like half the fun of a vacation is the planning and anticipation and half the fun is the actual trip. Definitely want to visit the Outer Banks this year, as always.

Current fun Continuing to learn about different animals that Sadie is interested in. Last week was all about axolotls and this week has been husky week.

Current drink Coffee! Jimmy has been liking the new Starbucks drink with olive oil in it. Has anyone tried it? I just don’t think I can get on board with olive oil in coffee 🥴

Current excitement Warm, sunny weather lately! “Warm” being 50 degrees, lol. It has been great to get outside with the kids and Niva as much as possible.

Current home product Lavender all purpose cleaning spray. Smells great, works great. Also loving our set of two glass storage containers. We use them to store coffee beans and Malcolm’s cat food.

Current laugh My “I have no shelf control” hoodie. My mom gave it to me a few years ago and it’s just so true for me.

Current kid product Three words: indoor scavenger hunt. This is so fun for those days when it’s too cold or rainy to get outside and we need something to do that will get Sadie moving and using her brain.

Current cuteness Sadie with her cousins. The girls spent the day together between church services on Sunday and it makes my heart so happy to see them form such a strong bond at a young age.

Currently looking forward to Working on Etsy orders and planning upcoming menus! I’ve been having fun getting back into the groove of Etsy and I’m excited to work on products for March.

Current joy Therapy work with Niva! I know, I’m a broken record. I love it, though.
