Hi! I feel like every time I post here I’m like there’s so much fun stuff going on! But it’s true lately. Some stuff has been big (a gender reveal party!) and other stuff is just simple everyday moments (hanging out with our zoo, baking, reading, etc.).
So, let’s talk about the gender reveal party. My friend did a blood test to find out the gender of her baby and asked me to bake a colored cake that their dog could eat so they could find out the gender as he ate it. So fun!

My friend’s sister told me their baby’s gender about a week or two before the party (they had the test results sent to her) and it was super exciting to know, but also super hard!
I’m glad everyone knows now and I don’t have to be afraid I will accidentally slip up, haha. I was also pumped to know the gender before the party so I could do some gender-specific shopping 😬

Aside from that very special event, everyday life has been extra fun lately. I took Sadie to story time at our local library today and it was sweet to see her get into the singing, play with toys, and make new friends.
I started reading a new book and I’m excited to dig into it as time allows! My Etsy shop has been keeping me happily busy, too! Lots of brownies, granola, and bread have been baked and I adore every second of it.
If you want me to mail you a special coupon, email me your address and I’ll add you to the list!

We’ve had a much less dry summer than last year, so our garden is doing well. Sadie likes to drive her power wheel up to the plot and help me pick veggies and then drive them back. She’s a good helper 🥰
I made a tomato sauce with some of our tomatoes yesterday because they were getting out of control! I think my next use-up-all-the-tomatoes project will be salsa 😊

We’ve been making our rounds to as many local parks as possible!
It’s always a bonus when there’s a trail nearby so we can walk Niva and then play with Sadie on the playground. A win-win situation for tiring out our girls 😉

Aaaand with that, I’m off! I have some granola to photograph in its packaging because I added a new flavor to the shop for the upcoming season 🍂
You look like you’ve been busy! So much going on, and our summers are never long enough. I have been munching on fresh cucumbers, green and yellow beans, and made a few loaves of yummy zucchini bread. Going to make some more bread tomorrow, with the zucchini I got out of the garden tonight!
I’m going to be ordering some of your delicious looking granola, very soon. You and Sadie look great. Love you, Allie
Yes, so busy with all of the baking and I totally agree–our summers are not nearly long enough! I love that you’re enjoying all the garden goodies and zucchini bread, Yum!
Love you Aunt Aud!
I love Sadie helping haul the garden produce in her “beep beep” to the house!
She is so sweet!
LOVE 💕 YOU

It’s the cutest!! Love you! ❤
PUMPKIN SPICE GRANOLA!!!???!!! 🙂 Kind of excited about your new flavor… Ha, ha!!! I was really excited to get the little note card for your bakery in the mail. It’s all so cute, and you’re such an amazing cook!
How fun is that gender reveal cake? Also, your dress is so beautiful!!
Yes!! It’s one of my favorite flavors for this season! Thank you for the sweet compliment, too!!
Ahh so much good food! If we ever visit IRL I will definitely be honored to sample anything baked by you! 😀
Honestly seeing that cake makes me so excited about getting cupcakes, or just any cake with frosting!!! Just not a thing here in Italy 😅
YASS please! I would love to meet IRL and share all the baked goods and food! So crazy cake with frosting isn’t a thing in Italy!
Oh how fun! I would have such a hard time keeping the gender a secret so I totally understand how relieved you were once the secret was out. 🙂
So glad your garden is doing so well!
Yes, such a relief! Except today they had their anatomy scan…. and it turns out it’s a girl! What a surprise!!
