Closing Out The School Year + Savoring The Small Things

There’s something special about this time of year—we finished our 180 days of homeschool, the days are stretching longer, and we’ve been living life outside as much as possible lately.

I’ve found myself slowing down and really noticing the goodness tucked into our everyday life: adventures at the park, wobbly baby steps, the smell of something baking in the oven, and a dream-come-true book being published. This season has felt full in all the best ways. (more…)

A Sandbox, Ginger Shots, and Everything In Between

Our days lately have been a mix of relaxing moments, big appointments, and backyard projects.

Jimmy brought our big kids to see the new Super Mario movie, we got our sandbox set up in the backyard, and we’ve been soaking up as much outside time as possible. Add in some time at the library, a silly food challenge, homemade ginger shots, and a visit to the allergist, and it’s been a full week around here! (more…)
