Hello to October! I’m not sure how we’re almost halfway through the 10th month of the year but here we are!
Here’s a look at what’s up for our family this month. I’d love to hear how October is treating you!
Current books I’ve been reading Dakota these books written by a speech therapist as we work on building her communication skills! I’m also working on my next book and reading lots of books from the Biscuit series with Mordecai before bed each night.
Current food Three words: maple waffle cereal. 🤤
Current beauty product I have two and they’re both face washes. I’ve been using this foaming face wash (it’s so creamy!) and occasionally steal Jimmy’s exfoliating face wash because it smells and feels so refreshing.
Current joy Dakota has been doing well with speech therapy. She said “look” and “this” recently!
Current drink I had a yummy Spindrift recently and it hit the spot! I also introduced the kids to Dr. Pepper. Only Sadie was a fan. 😂
Current baked good Peanut butter pretzel chocolate chunk cookies. That’s a mouthful. Literally!
Current excitement My sister found out the gender of baby #5 and it’s a boy! 🩵
Current mood Content. 🫶🏻
Current fun Family hot tub time. We’ve even been taking Dakota in! She loves it.
Current scripture Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Psalm 62:1
Current obsession Candle making. I’m having so much fun learning this hobby!
Current cuteness Sadie and Mordecai had a “sleepover” in our living room. 🥰
Current kid product The kids have had endless fun making and playing with potions.
Current home product Just stocked up on my favorite fall-scented cleaning spray!
