Hey hey! Hope everyone has had a great weekend! I’m comin’ at ya today with a few random thoughts and favorite things as of late!
Five random thoughts and musings for today:
Do you think whoever invented bug repellant spray was like I think I’ll make itsmell so weird that even bugs will fly away?
When I finish a phone call with my family I always say “Bye, love you!” and I was *this close* to saying it to the barista at the Starbucks drive through the other day 😳
Sadie kept asking for maggots the other day, and it turned out she wanted magnets 😂
What is your comfort food? Mine is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or anything my mom cooks/bakes.
I was reading this scripture about how our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and I was like whoa, it makes so much sense. We worship in temples (our bodies), we don’t worship the temple.
A few favorites:
Baking cinnamon babka! I made it on a whim this week and I’m so glad I did. Love it!
It’s that time again: Sunday Coffee Date time! Grab a cup of coffee and let’s talk as though we were catching up over a cup of your favorite blend 🙂
If we were having coffee right now… I would wish you a Happy Independence Day! Are you doing anything fun to celebrate? We have an outdoor church service this evening followed by a cookout and then fireworks. I’m curious as to what Sadie will think of fireworks. I used to really dislike fireworks as a young child. I can remember plugging my ears and crying during the whole show each 4th of July for a few years 😂
If we were having coffee right now… I would embarrassingly admit that I deep cleaned our bathroom for the first time in way too long. Scrubbing our shower is my least favorite household task. I have no problem changing our sheets out, vacuuming, and (trying to keep up with) cleaning the windows, but the tub? Ugh. What domestic task are you not a fan of?
If we were having coffee right now… I would tell you that Jimmy and I took Sadie to Barnes and Noble on Friday night and randomly left with her first Lego kit! It was actually my first experience with Legos, too, and I had no idea how much fun they are! Jimmy took a picture of us while we were out and it was blurry and perfectly summed up taking a picture with a toddler 😉
If we were having coffee right now… I would tell you that Sadie, Niva, and I went over to Niva’s new friends’ house last night so the dogs could play and run around and I don’t know who had more fun, me talking with other husky owners, Sadie running around with three dogs, or Niva getting her zoomies out! It was a good evening 😊
If we were having coffee right now… I would laugh and tell you how I was in our basement yesterday and Jimmy was upstairs with Sadie. He sent me a video…. of me… in the basement. He must have been bored because he tied a string around his phone and sent it down our laundry chute to video me 😂
If we were having coffee right now… I’d tell you that I can’t stop baking. What’s new, right?!
