I did some pet sitting this past week and it was equal parts fun and wild, as per usual! We had Niva’s husky bestie, Runah, over from Sunday to Wednesday and they had the best time playing, digging up our yard, and even managed to escape our fence together.

Family Day
Our first little family (of four!) date happened on Friday and it was such a fun day together! Jimmy took Friday off of work and we headed to one of my favorite places in Pittsburgh: the National Aviary!
Sadie and I talked all about birds in the weeks leading up to our visit, so she was excited. We listened to a recording of a kookaburra laughing, looked up pictures of flying foxes, talked about owls, vultures, penguins, and toucans. (more…)
