I was at Dunkin’ the other day and saw that they have a spicy ghost pepper donut. Would you eat it? I think I would try it because I feel like it would have the whole sweet and spicy thing going on.
The DIY decorating kit below the ghost pepper donut looks pretty cool, too.
Do you spell it donut or doughnut? Apparently, donut is the Americanized spelling of the tasty treat. Also, what is your favorite type or flavor of donut? I like Dunkin’s strawberry frosted donut with rainbow sprinkles 🙂
I think I harvested the last of the vegetables from our garden today. We’ve had a few frosts, so I think everything is about done.
I would love to do indoor gardening throughout the winter with a grow light, but we have one curious cat who likes to nibble on flowers and plants.
We’ve been getting a bit of rain here in Pittsburgh the past few days. I enjoy rainy days for the most part. They feel like the perfect type of day to light a candle and read a book. Rainy days are also fun with a toddler who likes to jump in puddles!
We filmed a vlog on Monday, so you can see Sadie in action at the 10:30 mark in the video. There’s also some cooking (four ingredient pizza pockets!), grocery shopping, and homeschooling in there 🙂
I braided this loaf of challah earlier today and it’s in the oven right now. It always feels great to braid some bread and do things with my hands.
That challah is goals!! My god-sis-in-law makes pretty glorious challot 😀 Unfortunately I don’t have challah often (gluten sensitivity so I only have it when I or someone else makes it GF). I love spicy foods tho, and would definitely try the ghost pepper donut if I could!
I actually really like rainy days- they feel cozy. We just had a ton of snow dumped on us. Six-ish inches is what stuck (there was a lot that melted before it started sticking).
Thank you so much for the lovely email ❤ I’ll get back to you soon
Aww, thank you for the compliment Niques! It sounds like your god-sis-in-law is quite the baker!!
I liked hearing you would try the ghost pepper donut!! Spicy food for the win 🙂
I can’t believe you guys got snow!! That is totally wild!!
I would never try that donut – not even 1 Bite!!
Sometimes I actually do enjoy a rainy day. It’s cozy and I definitely get more done around the house too. I have had your challah bread~ and it’s DELICIOUS!!! Sadie jumping in puddles is adorable (although anything she does is adorable to YaYa)
Love you!!!
Haha to the donut! I am so curious how it tastes!
Yes to cozy, rainy days! I agree, I definitely do more cleaning and tidying on rainy days, too 🙂
Thanks for the compliment on my challah 🙂 I love you! ❤
That challah is goals 😍 my god-sis-in-law makes glorious challot!! Unfortunately I don’t have challah often; only when I or someone else makes a GF one (gluten sensitivity). Otherwise I’d definitely try the ghost pepper donut, I love spicy foods.
I actually really like rainy days. We just got 6+ inches of snow (6 is what accumulated; it came down for quite awhile before the ground was cold enough for it to start sticking).
Thank you for the lovely email ❤ will reply soon
I would definitely try that doughnut. I like spicy foods! Plain, sugared doughnuts are my favourites. Have you ever tried Krispy Kreme doughnuts? We have those in the UK and I like the plain ones from there.
I enjoy rainy days too, especially at this time of the year when it gets dark earlier and it feels cozy to stay inside with a book.
The challah looks amazing! I have baked it before, but it was a long time ago, when I was a teenager.
That is so cool!! Yay for spicy foods 🙂
I totally forgot about Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Those are AMAZING! There used to be a Krispy Kreme shop nearby and they had glass partitions where the workers were, and you could see the whole process of glazing the donuts and everything and I thought it was pretty neat! They would even give out hats and free donuts!
Thank you for the compliment on my challah 🙂
Your challah bread looks amazing!
I never really enjoyed rainy days until I had a kid, but now they are so much fun! Puddle splashing is the best! 🙂
Thank you, Rach!
Yes to puddle splashing!! 🙂
I would definitely give that donut a try. Not sure if I’d like it better than a pink frosted classic but I try not to shy away from new things 😄
I had a feeling you would since you’re so adventurous, Pree!
The bread looks great. I bet it tasted wonderful, too! I saw the ad for that same ghost pepper donut/doughnut and said, Nope, never going to try it. So much for expanding my horizon.
Thank you!! LOL about the donut! I have yet to talk to anyone who has actually tried it!
