pop-tarts

Three

Woah, that’s right. THREE. I have three recipes to share with you.

1. My personal recipe for carrot soup. Love this stuff. It’s a super simple recipe, too!carrotsoupcarrotsoup2

2. My favorite tuna sandwich recipe. It’s a guacamole tuna sandwich on pumpernickel bread. I don’t know how I came up with this. It’s super random, but don’t knock it till ya try it!tuna1IMG_5176IMG_5177

3. Strawberry Pop-Tart Muffins. I was at Jimmy’s house on Sunday after church and we decided to bake  muffins together, but didn’t have any chocolate chips or blueberries. So we resorted to making our own recipe by using strawberry Pop-Tarts to give the muffins some flavor. We also added a streusel topping. poptart1poptart2poptart3IMG_5165

What’s the best thing you’ve cooked or baked lately?

Recent Eats

Howdy!

Here are some of my recent eats:

chineseSemi-homemade General Tso’s chicken. I just breaded the chicken with flour and fried it in oil for a few minutes, and then added enough sauce to coat the chicken. Easy peasy.

IMG_4967A fellow classmate was fundraising for THON, so I had to show my support 😉

IMG_4995Black eyed pea stew! I found black eyed peas on sale at the grocery store for 50 cents, so I researched some soup recipes and made this stew. The only thing I changed was that I replaced the kielbasa with sausage. It was great!

IMG_4993Check out the new Pop-tart flavor! I tried the limited edition marshmallow hot chocolate flavor in this post and the strawberry flavor in this post. Red velvet? Highly recommended.

That’s all the pictures I have of food for ya.

In my next post, I have a lot (of random things) to share, including the fact that my family got a new kitten! FelixMeet Felix!

Don’t worry, I’m still giving lots of love and kisses to Lola, the most shiny dog in the world. I need to learn her secret for shiny hair… lolaI can’t imagine life without animals! They’re such a blessing.
