What We Needed

Ever since having our babies seven weeks apart, my sister and I have been dying to have a day to hang out, let our “big kids” run wild, and snuggle our babies together. We were finally able to make that happen on Friday and it was just what we needed.

I called our pediatrician’s office and had her seen. Poor Kota Bear has her first ear infection. I’m glad I brought her in when I did because the doctor said her eardrum was bulging (but thankfully it didn’t rupture!).

Dakota’s fan club at the doctor’s office 😂

Now we’re doing ten days of antibiotics and she’s taking them like a champ. She has been so pleasant despite being sick. Early one morning, she was coughing and sniffling at 3:00 am and Jimmy was using a bulb syringe to suction her nose and she was smiling so hard at him! Who does that 🤣 (more…)
