Hello and happy Friday! Or as I like to call it, Fri-Yay! Today’s post is a (very random) round up of all the things I’m loving at the moment. Please join in and share your favorites in the comments 😊 

Okay, let’s dive in and discuss all the things!

Deli swirl bread. I just love bread. Especially rye and pumpernickel. Swirl them together and you have some delicious bread! This is the Pepperidge Farm brand, by the way! It’s sharp, spicy, and licorice-y. I’ll have anything on this bread–tuna, eggs, deli meat, etc.–and it’s all good. Do you have a favorite type of bread? I’m also a big fan of sourdough and challah. I also just realized you can see the gash I put in my thumb the other day in the above photo 😂 

Jimmy felt the baby move. We were driving to get groceries on Saturday last week and I felt the baby moving so I grabbed Jimmy’s hand and held it on my stomach. He got to feel two kicks and we were both grinning from ear to ear!

Fetal doppler. My friend at church who recently had a baby lent me her fetal doppler. Basically, it’s a device that helps you hear your baby’s heartbeat and movements. I went into church a little early on Wednesday and she showed me how to use it. It was fun hanging out in a back room just listening to baby boy’s heartbeat! I showed Sadie how it works yesterday and it was so sweet watching her look for her brother’s heartbeat 💙 

New toothbrush. I’m pretty sure I’ve hit the stage of adulthood when appliances and toothbrushes are exciting purchases. I don’t know if that’s good or bad, ha! This toothbrush has been awesome. I am a dental nerd and enjoy trying different toothpastes, flosses, and toothbrushes, so having a toothbrush with bluetooth capabilities has been pretty neat! I was brushing my teeth the other night and Jimmy said “I have to take a picture of you using your new toothbrush for your blog!” 😂 

Archery set. Who is tired of hearing me talk about archery constantly?! Sorry! I won’t blabber on too much. I’ll just say that I’m loving the archery set Jimmy gave me for our anniversary/my birthday. It’s technically a kid’s set, but I’m not a tall person, so it’s just the right size for me 😬

Santoku knives. Despite cutting myself, my new knives are great! I got this set of stainless steel Santoku knives (under $15 for two!) and, well, they do their job! Also: if you are looking for a good knife sharpener, this bad boy is awesome and also very inexpensive.

Nail appointment with Sadie. My sister gave me a gift card for a local nail salon for my birthday, so Sadie and I went in to get our nails done together! I love doing things like this with her. Just like last time, she was a very good girl! So proud.

Chocolate Chex. I’m into cereal (hello, I sell granola in my Etsy shop 😂). Like, we have a small cabinet dedicated to cereal and it’s embarrassing. I should post a picture some time. I’m a serial cereal mixer and have been known to combine five or more different types of cereals in a bowl with milk. I know, it’s weird! I recently came across Chocolate Chex and give it two thumbs up! So good 🥣
