An Aldi + Walmart Grocery Haul (With a Fun Seasonal Find!)

I’ve got a great grocery haul to share! I shopped at Aldi and had a few things shipped from Walmart. I also grabbed a fun fall find from Aldi that I’m waaaay too excited about. 🎃

Here’s a look at what I stocked up on this past week!


Aldi Stock Up 🥛

The kids and I hit up Aldi bright and early on Monday morning and came home with the bulk of our week’s groceries.

Dairy and Eggs 🥚

Chocolate milk – $2.60
Mordecai and Dakota chug this!

Mozzarella cheese – $3.29
For all sorts of meals—scrambled eggs, pizza, wraps, etc.

Half and half – $2.39
For mine and Jimmy’s morning coffee!

Orange juice – $3.75
When will I learn to buy two of these?! This didn’t last us a whole week. 😂

Almond milk – $2.29
For my nightly cereal bowl.

Crescent rolls – $2.97
Mordecai is a biiiiig fan of these!

Munster cheese – $1.49
For Jimmy’s lunch wraps.

Scrambled, hard boiled, for baking, etc.!

I bought this as a fun new thing for the kids to try. The only one who liked it was Mordecai. 🤣

One of my favorite veggies to roast!

We’re definitely getting out of strawberry season because these were on the soft side.

I don’t usually buy organic, but these were the only ones that weren’t brown!

For marinating chicken and making ginger shots.

For making ratatouille.

Grape tomatoes – $1.99
For salads.

Also for ratatouille.

Chicken thighs (3.12 lbs) – $9.33
For making rosemary chicken!

Salmon (.63 lb) – $5.66
Can’t stop, won’t stop with the salmon obsession. Dakota, Mordecai, and I love it!

Spinach herb wraps – $3.35
For making lunch wraps.

Honey dijon mustard – $1.49
I use this in my sloppy joe recipe and needed to restock.

Ground cinnamon – $0.99
I go through this pretty quickly when I have a lot of granola orders on Etsy.

Sparkling water x2 – $1.58
Sadie and I love this bubbly water as a little treat!

Pumpkin – $1.79
I made mini pumpkin muffins with this!

Chocolate chips – $3.65
I use these in four ingredient energy bites.

Crushed red pepper – $0.99
I pile this on pretty much everything savory that I eat!

Tortillas – $2.09
More tortillas for wraps and breakfasts.

Peanut butter sandwich crackers – $2.89
A nice little snack all three kids will eat!

Freeze dried strawberries – $2.99
These are expensive but a really nice treat for Sadie. She loooves them and I am so happy to see her eat fruit!

For wrapping up freezer lunches.

I could not resist these pumpkin sheets for our bed! I am such a sucker for anything seasonal and we were in need of a new set of sheets. 🎃

Walmart Order ⭐️

I placed a shipping order on Walmart’s website and grabbed a few pantry items!

I’m cracking up as I look at the picture because the kids were using our curtains to make a fort 🤣

A snack all of the kids enjoy.

Rao's pasta sauce and gallon freezer bags

Pasta sauce – $7.52
My all-time favorite pasta sauce. It’s a little bit of a splurge, but it’s truly so good.

Gallon freezer bags – $6.77
Not too bad for 60 gallon bags.

There you have it for our grocery haul! We had a good mix of staples, fresh produce, and, of course, those cute sheets! No regrets there (though Jimmy isn’t overly excited about sleeping under pumpkins 😜)!
