Be Our Guest

Sadie and I were delighted to be invited as guests on our cousin’s swimming pool membership today.

Toddler in swimming pool

We met up with their family, my sister and her daughter, and my mom for an afternoon of fun in the sun. We had such a nice time talking, relaxing, and playing with the kids.

Sadie ended up liking the adult pool and was jumping into my arms. She made my retired swimmer heart happy πŸ˜‰

While we were out, we had a house guest! The pool was located about an hour from our house and I knew we would be gone for most of the afternoon, so I had a dog walker come and take Niva on a little jaunt while we were out.

I think Niva enjoyed her walk and got nice and tired out because she didn’t eat any brownie mix while we were gone πŸ˜‰

Other things of note:

  • We filmed another vlog yesterday! My favorite part is Sadie and Niva running around while I try and explain how to cook breakfast casseroles.
  • Jimmy sent me the photo below and it melted my heart. He took Sadie to work with him on Saturday for a little and she brought one of her toy dogs and accidentally left it there. He said he found it on Monday morning and it made his day πŸ™‚

Tell me about your day!

Have you ever found something totally random on your desk? —> I have a Paw Patrol sticker book sitting on mine at the moment, lol.

  1. It was so much fun hanging out at the pool with you girls And all the kids! Niva looks like she has a blast walking with a friend~ as long as she’s moving she’s happy πŸ˜‹ The most annoying thing on my desk is our cat Felix- laying across rent checks and my laptop πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘
    Love you,
    Madre
