We’re days away from Christmas! So exciting. Are you busy this week? I’m trying to free up my schedule as much as possible so I can just relax with my little family in the coming days.
I’ve been busy the past week or so with a few things big and small:
–>Mordecai graduated from physical therapy for his brachial plexus injury 🎉
–>I’ve been working on gathering and submitting all the required paperwork for Niva and I to begin our therapy dog work in 2024.
–>Starbucks dates with the kids (the best!).
–>Trips to the library with the kids.
–>Baking orders for my business.
–>Preparing New Year’s greeting cards for my family’s real estate brokerage.
–>Figuring out Christmas plans with family (location/time/meals/etc.)
–>Still reminiscing on a lovely weekend ❤️
Okay, how about some pictures?
This boy loves a good scone! Actually, he likes just about any food. Sometimes we get a scone at Starbucks and sometimes we get the bacon egg bites. I love that two egg bites come in a pack because the kids each get one.
Lots of baking happening over her lately. I’ve been back in my granola groove with gingerbread and cranberry orange. Also lots of chocolate covered Oreos and cupcakes. I love it all.
I had to design and order New Year’s cards for my family’s real estate brokerage this week and I knew there was no way I’d be able to think straight with a full house so Jimmy brought the kids to his dad and step mom’s house to hang out while I worked. It was so weird and nice to be in our home by myself. We’ll have to make it happen again when I get all the cards addressed 😂
This little chicka is the sweetest, especially with her little brother. Also, her style is too cute. She’s starting to grow out of a lot of her clothes, but she’s so particular about what she likes and doesn’t like. It’s tough to shop for her!
Sadie had a trial swim lesson this week and had a blast. She was all smiles the whole time. I was ready to sign her up for weekly lessons and she said she preferred that I teach her so I guess we’ll be swimming together a lot this winter!
Spotted my book at the library when I brought Sadie to the kids club Christmas party. She was singing and crafting her little heart out at the library and it made me so happy.
These two! Their bond gets deeper every day.
And that’s a wrap. I want to hear what you’ve been up to so far this week!

The pic with Sadie and Mordecai lying on the floor together is the best!
Thanks for sharing all!
Love ❤️ You!
Dad
🙂
Makes me so happy to see them together! Love you!!
Wow, you have had a busy, but fun week!! I love that the kids like Starbucks, although I truly think they’d like Dunkin better. I’m so glad Decky graduated from PT, and that Sadie had so much fun at her lessons (as I witnessed!)
All of your baking is always amazing!
I’m spending my week helping out with grandchildren, and doing some last minute wrapping and meal shopping.
Love you!
Madre
Yes, very busy! They probably do love Dunkin’ more than Starbucks but I never let them have a chance to try it LOL. I am so relieved Mordecai is done with PT and glad he overcame that! Thank you for coming to Sadie’s swim lesson with us and for always encouraging me with my baking 🙂
Love you!
