Jimmy and I took Sadie to a famous Pittsburgh candy shop last night: Sarris Candies! This was her second time visiting Sarris. I don’t think she was even eating solid food last time we took her, so it was a lot more fun this time!

What a difference a few years makes!
We told Sadie she could pick out one item and she chose a $0.99 ladybug-shaped chocolate. I’m definitely not complaining because there were some more expensive items I thought she would go for 😉 😂
Spending time in a store filled with chocolate, candy, and fun displays was the perfect way to spend a cold winter night in February!
Soo adorable! Its nice that an amazing chocolate shop like Sarris is close to your home. What a special memory!
It looks like a fun trip! 🙂 I really like dark chocolate and I’ve been making batches of dark chocolate cookies recently. I found a recipe online that includes tahini, sounds strange but it really works as you get the slight saltiness and nuttiness of the tahini in the background flavour
What a magical spot!
It really is!
I have a dear friend from Hershey, PA: a company town where the company made chocolate. She once sent me photos of the town – street lights shaped like candy kisses are a truly remarkable thing!
