I mentioned in my last post that my sister brought her kids and dog over for the day on Wednesday and promised to blog about it. We had such a fun time! Hannah and I signed Sadie and Caroline up for a plant and paint event at a local park, so the girls painted a flower pot and planted a succulent and got to take it home! I will be cherishing that little pot as long as it lasts at our zoo of a house 😜
The day was full on chaos with three kids under age three and two dogs, but the best kind of chaos. I know I say it all the time, but I love doing life with my sister and I feel so blessed that we are in the same stage of being a wife and raising kids (and dogs) at the same time. My favorite moments of the day were the ones where the kids were all content and Hannah and I could just talk about everything and nothing. I so needed that day with her and I can’t wait to hang out again soon!
It was a great day! It definitely filled up my cup, and I know Sadie was sad to see Caroline leave (even though they saw each other just a few hours later at church 😂).
We filmed a vlog of the day to capture a glimpse of the happy chaos.
This is all so fun and beautiful!! Now I kind of want to have my kids paint their own flower pots… What a cute idea!
Can’t wait to watch the vlog. I’m just not allowed to without the kiddos, so we’ll watch it together tonight. Ha ha. 🙂
It was an absolute messy blast, lol!! I know your kids would have so much fun and then you could plant some herbs in the pots and have such great memories every time you see them!
Hope you guys loved the vlog!!
Looks like you girls gad an awesome day! I’m so glad you two get along so well as well as Sadie and Caroline!
Love 💕 You
Haha, yes!! We are so blessed to have each other and our girls have each other.. and YOU! Love you! ❤
Every pic is so precious, and I LOVED the vlog ♥️. I’m sure The girls and Lawson will enjoy seeing themselves in the future too 😂
Hahaha, I hope they do!! ❤
Oh so much sweet chaos! I love that you and Hannah are in the same stage of life at the same time. ❤
That is the perfect way to describe it, sweet chaos! It has been so wonderful being at the same stage in life as my sister. Such a big blessing to relate and talk!
I’m at my mom’s while watching, so my dog and her two dogs are napping…they are ran to our front door barking when your sister’s dog arrived in the video. Ha!
I love that!! I feel like you should bring the dogs over to our house and my sister can bring her dog and we can have a big dog party 🙂
