Hello hello! Sharing a few random things from my life lately 🙂
1 . Sunshine + Sadie + Malcolm
We had a balmy day in the ‘Burgh last week so Sadie, Malcolm, and I spent some time in the backyard just playing and poking around the garden area. It made me so excited for consistently warm weather and more sunny days!
2. Spring cleaning. I’ve been finding myself doing a little extra cleaning lately and it feels wonderful! I mopped our basement, washed Sadie’s carseat, cleaned up the yard, and vacuumed out our car. Next on the list: tackle our exterior windows. Do you have any specific cleaning tasks you like to do in the spring?
3. A new devotional.
I started this guided journal devotional and am loving it! It has a lot of passages from the classic, Jesus Calling, but with the addition of journal prompts. I love a good journal prompt 😊
4. Spring bucket list. I’m thinking of making a little spring bucket list! I want to go on a picnic, prep the garden for planting, walk on a local trail, and take Sadie to a playground with Jimmy! What else should I add to the list?!
5. Mavis being adorable.
Little May May is doing fabulous with her family! Her owner sent me this picture over the weekend and I couldn’t stop smiling. Her fur mom has been such a huge blessing to me and I’m so thankful everything worked out ❤
6. Essential oils. I’m happy to report that I’m still loving my little journey into learning about essential oils! I love diffusing them and applying them topically and I’ve had a blast trying new-to-me scents and blends. I’m still a big fan of this brand for the quality and price of their products. Maybe I’ll do a whole post on oils and what I’m learning soon if anyone is interested!
Fun post! I’m definitely interested in hearing about your essential oil journey. I also like the devotional you shared – I’m not much of a journal-er but maybe it could get me started!
Yay! Thank you, Rachel! I will definitely post about it 🙂 The devotional has been wonderful so far and each day only has three questions, so it’s not a ton of journaling!
I absolutely love the pic of Sadie and Malcolm outside- they have become quite close and it’s adorable!!
As you know, I don’t to well at journaling, but I really should~ due to the fact I can ever remember anything 😞
I also can’t stop smiling at the pic of our little MayMay. She does seem to be thriving there with all of her buddies. I’m so glad she lives close to you, and that Bernadette spends so much time with her babies 💚💛 She is a blessed little girl!! 🐶
I LOVE all the essential oil blends that you have made for me, and I really appreciate your research and willingness to help me with my 9 zillion ailments 😂
I do need to tackle a ton of cleaning projects this spring- # 1 being painting the living room, cleaning the sun porch, and rearrange the office/family room area.
Love you!!!
They are two peas in a pod for sure! I agree–Mavis is thriving with her family! I am so happy you’re enjoying the essential oils 🙂
Can’t wait to see the painting and such that you do!
Love you ❤
The picture of Sadie in the sunshine just melts my heart!
Love 💕 You
Dad
🙂
We love you! ❤
Okay, that picture of Mavis belongs on an Easter card! Ha, ha. Too much cuteness!!!
And I totally get the spring cleaning itch too. I’m in a busy stage with two kids who get into EVERYTHING right now, so I’m kind of taking me a slow approach… But our house needs a deep cleaning, so I’ve been tackling a project a week. (Last week I did my kitchen cabinets…). It feels good to declutter, dust, and wipe down surfaces! 🙂
Sadie is sooooooo adorable!!
Totally agree, haha! It was so cute I just had to share!
I like your idea of taking a slow approach to spring cleaning.. I am in the same boat!
