I’m alive

It’s true. I’m still alive. I just haven’t blogged in a few days because I’ve been busy having fun!

Summer has officially started for me. My Spanish final was on Thursday and it was tough. It was 145 questions and took me 1.5 hours. I was exhausted and brain dead after taking it. I got an 85% though, so I’m happy.

This past weekend was amazing and just plain fun. I didn’t turn on my computer or stress about anything and it felt so good.

On Friday I swam for a little in the morning, got my eyes checked (20/20 vision, yay!), picked Hannah up from school, went out to eat with my family, and got to see my best friend for a little bit at the mall.

Saturday can be summed up in pictures:I worked at Jimmy’s family’s shop from 7am-12pm. We had to run to Home Depot and I saw a little cactus so Jimmy bought it for me. We also went on a trail run together (well.. Jimmy biked and I ran) and saw a snake. Fun stuff!

Saturday was also spent playing with street bikes, Rzr’s, and riding in Mustangs. I guess it was a vehicle binge kind of day?

On Sunday I went to church, grilled out with my family, took Lola on a trail walk, and washed my truck.ย

Today is my day off of work but this is my work schedule for the week:

  • Monday: off!
  • Tuesday: Teach spinning @ 6:15
  • Wednesday: teach spinning @ 4:30 and 7:15
  • Thursday: teach spinning @ 6:15
  • Friday off!

Not too shabby! Well, this post is long enough and I have a few errands to run today so I better get going.

Have a great day!ย

  1. Aw, it sounds like you have been having so much food! Good job on your final! I remember those days…studying is a lot of work!

That little cactus is super cute! I bet you are so excited to be on summer break now…do you have any big plans for the summer besides teaching spin?! I wish I could attend your spin class!

  2. it’s funny cause i just got caught up with your blog since April 11th and arriving at my final post of the Alli Marathon i can most assure you, you ARE alive — full of life, joy, love, faith and spirit that just…gosh. i just love that smiley face!!! (and i expect there to be more “barefooting the dash” action this summer. that’s what i call it. it is vital for happiness.

  3. Not liking that snake. I’m not a snake fan, sorry, I would not have been able to stand there long enough to take the pic. But my husband would’ve been poking at it with a stick or doing something crazy cause that’s how he is. I’m glad you had a good weekend and good luck with all the teaching- hopefully you can get some more hours now that you’re done with classes!

  4. Nice post Allie! I am so glad that you are done with school, and I can’t wait till I’m done too!:) I am glad you and Maddy finally caught up:) Love yuou:p

  5. I’m happy your summer has started! Nice job on your finals!

It looks like you had a great weekend! I hate snakes and probably would have had cried if I saw that thing. Living in AZ, snakes are everywhere and they are now out. That means I stay indoors as much as possible until the fall comes around! ๐Ÿ™‚
