Rainy Day Activities and Getting Back to Normal

We had a rainy day in Pittsburgh yesterday so Sadie and I filled it with some fun indoor activities. We started off with painting a monster truck! She loves these Melissa and Doug craft kits and I love that they really hold her attention as she creates and paints.

Improvising and Beating the Heat

I was practicing archery in the yard the other evening and Jimmy ran to our garage to do something. A few minutes later, he came out with a homemade target crafted from insulation and wood. Now I don’t have to shoot Amazon boxes as a target!! (more…)
