Shenanigans

Hey there. How are you on this fine Friday? I can’t believe it is already Friday. I have had that feeling of forgetting what day it is because i’m on break and to be honest, it feels good.

I have been up to all kinds of shenanigans since the fall semester ended:

-Going out with friends to the mall

-Going out for coffee (using gift cards I received for Christmas!)

-Having Bible studies with Jimmy

-Shopping (I am a little sick of shopping at this point!)

-SLEEPING IN!

-Staying up late and watching movies (I’ve watched The Help and Monte Carlo so far)

-Running when ever I feel like it

-Master’s swim practice [I’ve only been to 1 practice because I keep sleeping in ;)]

-Baking!

Other things coming up:

-Ice skating

-College student game night for my church

-New Year’s Eve Party

-Movie theater trip

Pictures of fun shenanigans lately:

Mall + ice cream + going out to eat with friends.

Hannah got a piano for Christmas. I love listening to her play! She like to play Katy Perry and Lady Gaga songs… I’ll post a video soon!!

Alright, i’m off to enjoy life some more!

Have a great day!

Decisions..help?!

I think everyone who reads my blog will remember my post about possibly transferring colleges. I got so much awesome advice. But I need more. Or just opinions. So here it goes.

I’m weird. 🙂

-I currently commute (finishing my freshman year) to Penn State New Ken and I do like it but it doesn’t have too much to offer in the way of activities/opportunities/athletics/spirituality.

@ PSU 😉

-I applied and was accepted to Seton Hill, which is about 30 minutes from my home. It is a bigger college but also more expensive. [Think $37,000] Here is the update *they decided to lower my tuition (through athletic scholarships) down in the $20,000’s.* Which is still crazy.

-Seton Hill has a lot to offer in the academic department, athletic department (cross country + track) , and with activities. But they are a Catholic university and I’m Christian. It’s kind of a big difference buttt I would still be able to attend my church since Seton is only 30 minutes from my house.

Seton Hill^

-Now another update: I am also looking into a Christian college in WV. Ohio Valley University is a tiny college, but I know it has the same beliefs as my faith and I love that. They are also willing to offer me scholarship money which will make tuition around $14,000. That is doable but I don’t really know their academic reputation and the school is about 3 hours away.

-Other options I have looked into: Joining the Navy reserves (don’t judge!), going south for college (like GA, TN, FL) because it is a lot cheaper, and transferring to PSU main which is about 2 hours from me.

Soooo, what do ya think?! Advice.. opinions?
