Licking a Lamp, Lots of Snow, and Being an Adult

Okay, I know licking a lamp and being an adult probably don’t belong in the same sentence. Is it possible to do something like lick a lamp and still act like an adult? You can read this post and tell me what you think 😉

Let’s start with the snow first, though. Pittsburgh was gifted a few inches of snow on Friday and it was awesome! We woke up to about an inch, then it snowed all day and well into the evening.

New and Exciting Things and A Little Injury

If you’ve read my blog for more than five years, you’ll remember me talking about therapy dog training a lot. We had the smartest little cocker spaniel, Mavis, and we worked so hard on training her for therapy work. While it didn’t work out in the way I wanted it to, I never let that dream go.

Out of that experience, I learned a lot about trusting God, training dogs, and I gained a lifelong friend who is now Mavis’ owner. (more…)
