Welcome back to another grocery haul! This week, I switched things up from Aldi and purchased our groceries from Sam’s Club and Walmart. I stocked up on a good mix of pantry staples, produce, meat, personal items, and home goods.
Here’s a peek at what we bought this week!
Walmart Finds 🛒
18 Eggs – $2.17
We eat a lot of eggs around here! Scrambled, hard boiled, in wraps, and baked into cookies and sweet treats. It seems like I always need to grab more eggs.
Arugula – $2.96
Arugula is my favorite lettuce. It’s so flavorful! I like to use this sparingly in Jimmy’s nightly salads (he’s a romaine lover) and in breakfast egg wraps for myself.
Vanilla yogurt – $2.64
The kids love eating a bowl of this with a crushed Oreo on top. It’s like a homemade Chobani Flip—but cheaper! 😉
Grape tomatoes – $2.97
We use these in salads, for snacking, and roasting with other vegetables.
Brussels sprouts – $3.56
Nobody else in the house likes these… which just means more for mama! I like to roast these with oil, tomatoes, and spices.
Roma tomato – $0.29
I use Roma tomatoes in my favorite ratatouille recipe.
Chicken sausage – $3.87
This chicken and maple breakfast sausage is delicious! Perfect alongside homemade Eggo waffles. 😊
Skippy P.B. Bites – $3.74
These were a special request from Sadie! They’re a little on the pricey side, but I like that it’s a snack with some staying power.
Dishwasher powder – $4.98
I used to buy dishwasher pods but switched to the powder to save money. The Great Value brand works surprisingly well!
Apple cider vinegar (held by Dakota 😂) – $2.36
I use this in my homemade sloppy joe sauce!
Walmart Total: $29.54
Sam’s Club Items 🛒
Orange juice – $6.94
Another grocery haul, another orange juice stock up. This is the thing we go through the fastest!
Strawberries (2 lb) – $3.74
Our kids absolutely love strawberries! They’ll be able to eat this package in a couple of days.
Ground turkey (5 lb) – $22.77
I’ve found ground turkey to be less expensive than beef, so we’ve been using that for mini meat loaves, stuffed cabbage, sloppy joes, and stuffed peppers lately.
Chicken thighs (5.8 lb) – $20.21
I froze about half of this pack and put the rest in the fridge so I can make spicy chicken thighs this week. I’m thinking the other half will be used for rosemary chicken!
Baby wipes (12 pack) – $21.74
Self explanatory! I can’t wait to be done with buying these someday, haha. Until Dakota’s potty trained, we’re stuck buying wipes!
Oatmeal (10 lbs) – $7.98
I use this for granola for my business!
Honey (3 lbs) – $7.98
Also for granola. I actually plan on making coconut almond and gingerbread granola today!
Razors – $24.98
I love these razors. They have gel bars alongside the blades that make my skin smooth as I shave. I don’t even need to use shaving cream when I use these razors.
Sam’s Club Total: $116.34
Grand Total: $145.88
That’s a wrap on this week’s grocery haul! Every grocery trip looks a little different, but I always enjoy sharing what works for our family. I hope these grocery hauls give you a little inspiration, whether you’re planning meals, making your grocery list, or just curious what another family is buying. ☺️
Thanks for following along, and I’ll see you in the next haul!
