Hey hey! I have a lot of random pictures to share today. Just snapshots of what life has been looking like around here lately.
From broken kitchen canisters (waaaa!) to Bible study, cooking, and everything in between, here’s a peek at life lately!
1. Playtime with Dakota. She loves to do whatever her brother and sister do. Mordecai’s tee-ball set included!
2. Bible time. At the end of a long day, I just want to sit quietly with God’s Word. To do that outside is icing on the cake. I’m re-reading the book of Nehemiah!
3. Couch cleaning day. It feels so wonderful to strip the covers off the couches and throw them in the laundry with this sanitizer. It’s the same feeling I get with freshly laundered bedding. Swoon!
4. Oops. I dropped the canister that stores our hot cocoa mix. So sad. Mordecai cried. I kinda wanted to, too… but Dakota was trying to roll in the mess, so I had bigger problems to deal with. 😆
5. Sweetest view. We’ve been using our double stroller a lot lately and I never get tired of the view of our littles!
6. Potato debate. I like to roast potatoes in the oven. Jimmy likes them cooked on the stovetop. Let’s settle the debate—which team are you on?
7. Morning hot tub time. I woke up before everyone on Saturday morning and took my coffee outside and into the hot tub! I even got to read a bit of this book in peace and quiet.
8. Mordecai’s artwork. Mordecai just started drawing recently and it makes my heart so happy to see his sketches! He told me the one on the orange paper is him and Niva!
9. Cookies! I made peanut butter, pretzel, and chocolate chunk cookie dough last night. Can’t wait to bake these today. The raw dough was top-notch. 😉
10. Sunday mornings. Dakota wandering around the house with one shoe on and a lopsided headband is par for the course on a Sunday morning around our place! It’s always chaotic as we get ready for church but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
11. Hi! And hi from Sunday morning Sadie and Mordecai. 😊
There you have it—all the random pictures from life lately! We’re headed home from church as I type up this post. It’s a rainy day here in Pittsburgh, so I’ll probably be doing all my inside chores like laundry, baking orders, and cooking. I’m thinking I’ll light a candle and enjoy the rain! The kids already asked to go puddle jumping, so I’m sure that will happen, too! ☔️
