Currently: November 2023

November is here! It’s Mordecai’s birthday month. Thanksgiving is coming up. It’s the holiday season. It’s cozy season. Starbucks released their holiday cups. I love it all! We even woke up to snow flurries on November 1st, which I thought was very fitting.

Here’s what’s current in my life this month.

Current books Just finished Loving God with All Your Mind, which was excellent. Now I’m onto The Opposite of Butterfly Hunting and Let Your Mind Run. I’ve been reading this book to Sadie each night and she’s very into it!

Current baked good Chocolate cupcakes and pumpkin gobs with cream cheese frosting. What do you call cookies with cream in the middle? Whoopie pies? Gobs? Cream pies?

Pumpkin gobs Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream

Current drink Hot coffee in the morning and an iced latte in the afternoon!

Current food I was starting to get my appetite back after being sick and soft pretzel bites with honey mustard hit the spot! Let’s be real, though: pretzel bites and honey mustard always hit the spot for me 😂

Current laugh My family knows my love for peanut butter runs deep. My sister-in-law sent this message and picture of my niece to our family group text and I was cracking up. So proud.

Current beauty product Tea tree shampoo. It makes my scalp tingle and I love it.

Current excitement Mordecai’s birthday party and Thanksgiving are both this month!

Current cuteness Sadie all dressed up for church. She loves to pick her own outfits!

Current home product It must be the time of year, because we’ve been randomly getting a ton of fruit flies around the house. I bought these plastic apples that trap them and they’ve been working. They get bonus points for being kinda cute.

Current goal Planning a family night for November. I dropped the ball in October, lol.

Current fun There was a ladies event at our church over the weekend and it was really fun! Different women spoke, there was music, and workshops to learn things like wreath-making, prayer, painting, and more. I taught a workshop on how to bake granola and had a great time!

Current kid product Sadie has been enjoying making monsters using phonics and stickers with this workbook.

Current baby product This backpack carrier is awesome! Jimmy uses it just as much as I do. I put Mordecai in it when I need to walk Niva and have extra hands to help Sadie ride her bike. Jimmy uses it to hold Mordecai while he washes his truck 😂

Current craving A date with Jimmy!

    1. It kills me how fast she is growing up! Seeing her look older makes me want to cherish her more in the present, though 💕

Thank you for taking my workshop! I am so glad you enjoyed it!!
