How is that for a random post title?!
We got the snow that I mentioned in my last post! It started to come down on Sunday afternoon and didn’t let up until Monday morning.
Church was cancelled on Sunday night, so we used the extra free time to get out Sadie’s sled and take a walk through the snow! Okay, so maybe it was more of a shuffle for me (thank you, gallstone ๐), but it was fun nonetheless!
Experiencing things like a big snowfall is downright magical with a little one ๐
What was not so magical was going to the store on Monday for groceries and finding the shelves e-m-p-t-y. I honestly needed bread, but that was not happening unless I was going to make it myself ๐
Has anyone else ran into the empty shelves issue at the stores lately? I’m not sure if it was a supply chain thing or the snow or both combined, but it reminded me of 2020 for a second. Wild.
I was doing laundry this morning and found Sadie in the dryer. She said she wanted to choose her outfit from the clothes in the dryer.
I took a picture of Niva and realized it looks like she’s missing a leg! Does anyone else have a dog that lays like that?
Speaking of Niva, she is loving the snow. She gets the zoomies every time she goes outside. She has been in and out a million times and rolling in the snow like a wild woman!
I’ve been getting a few orders in my Etsy shop for chocolate covered Oreos as Valentine’s Day approaches and they’re just so. much. fun. to make!
I get excited when I get an order for Oreos because I get to be all creative and play with chocolate. Yeah, my idea of fun is decorating Oreos and writing books ๐
I took Sadie to our library today and she made her own fun. All of the toys and seats are off-limits due to covid, so she decided to take her shoes off and do rolls on the carpet?!
We did pick up a few books (who remembers Berenstain Bears?!) and I apologized numerous times to the staff ๐
Okay, this post is getting long-winded! I better get dinner ready (we’re having pork!) and then I have a church meeting.
The picture of Sadie in the Dryer and standing watching the snow are priceless!
Love ๐ You!
Dad
I agree! She’s just too cute! I love you! โค
Aww Sadie’s expression about the snow is delightful. Such a look of joy! No snow here, although it’s been crisp and frosty. I enjoyed an early morning walk a few days ago and it was beautiful with the full moon setting and the sun rising.
Ouch, I’ve never had a gallstone but it sounds really painful. I hope you feel better soon!
Yes, pure joy! I’m sorry you guys haven’t had any snow (unless you don’t want it ;))
Thanks for the well wishes!!
I do like snow, but I’m ready for spring now! Looking forward to the spring flowers and blooms emerging.
Note to self: order oreos from your shop for kids and Kevin for Valentine’s Day! Those look so adorable and delicious.
Sadie in the dryer is such a cute picture. Also I love how she made herself at home in the library. Get it girl.
That snow is lovely! We have gotten NOTHING this winter. We don’t usually get much but at least one little snow usually happens.
I’m sorry you have a gallstone – sounds horrible. I hope you feel better so soon.
Thank you so much for your order!! I hope you guys enjoy everything ๐
I’m so glad she feels at home in the library! I don’t know what to think about her in the dryer, LOL.
I hope you guys get some snow before winter ends!
Thank you for the well wishes for the gallstone ๐
