Sunday Coffee Date

It’s that time again, Sunday Coffee date time! Grab a mug of coffee (or tea!) and let’s catch up ☕️

Starbucks Spring Day Blend K Cups

If we were having coffee right now… I’d tell you I picked up a pack of Starbucks Spring Day Blend k cups and I can’t wait to try them! Have you had any good varieties or flavors of coffee or tea lately?

If we were having coffee right now… I would tell you that I listened to a great podcast episode about how no amount of money you earn, grade point average, number on the scale, number of followers on social media, or even a person will make you happy. True joy is only found in God. It was a great reminder and I thought I’d share 😊

If we were having coffee right now… I would tell you that I snuggled my nephew on Friday evening during a church event and he was smiling and laughing at me. I’m pretty sure my face looked like the heart eyes emoji the entire time.

If we were having coffee right now… I would tell you that we’ve had laborers at our house the past few days to pour a concrete parking pad and I think it has been the highlight of Sadie’s life. She calls all the workers “digger guy” and checks on them all day 😂

If we were having coffee right now… I would tell you that I ordered a new Bible because my old one was too heavy to carry in my purse to church (#lazy).

If we were having coffee right now… I’d tell you that we made an impromptu visit to my in-laws one night this week and they spoiled us! They had a fire going when we arrived, gourmet s’mores fixings, and a new swing just for Sadie.

If we were having coffee right now… I would show you the above picture and let you laugh at me for casually hanging out with a box of tissues. Oh the joys of a cold! I’m happy to report I’m feeling much better now aside from some sinus pain 🤪

If we were having coffee right now… I’d ask how the weather is treating you where you live. It has been in the 80s here in Pittsburgh and I absolutely love it!

If we were having coffee right now… I would tell that I added a new flavor of granola to the shop: chocolate peanut butter! Now I’m experimenting with a cinnamon apple flavor and figuring out shipping logistics for challah. So much fun 😬

What would you want to talk about if we were sitting down together for a cup of coffee?

  1. I would share that I’m extremely proud of you opening your Etsy shop!! I know you’re doing what you love, and that makes me happy!! We will have to figure out something for the Challah because it’s bomb.com!

  2. Look at your nephew! How cute!

What are you going to do with your new concrete pad? We just had one poured this spring and it was a highlight over here too!

I’m so glad you are feeling better, friend!

    1. Isn’t he?! Gah, I just love babies!!

I loved seeing your new concrete pad in a recent post! It looked super nice! Ours is for a boring but practical reason: more parking space!!

  3. Glad to hear you’ve had a lovely week and your cold is better. Your nephew is adorable! And how funny that Sadie was so interested in what the “digger guys” were doing. Cute! My 2-year-old (almost 3) nephew is also interested in that kind of thing. He likes watching the weekly rubbish collection and calls the workers “bin bin men”. 😂 (In the UK, we commonly call the rubbish collection truck a “bin lorry”. I guess you’d call them garbage trucks in the US).

    1. Thank you Grace! Me too!

It’s hilarious the names kids come up with for people and things and how interested they are in seemingly mundane things… like bin bin men 😂

We do call bin lorries garbage trucks! So fascinating that we use different words for the same thing!

  4. Can we make this coffee date a reality? And I would love to talk about any and everything with you! But how about let’s talk homeschool dates now and in the future! And thanks for taking the best pictures of Lawson! He loves his aunt “addy”!
