I think the “theme” of my life lately is creation. I feel like I have 571 million pictures to share, but I’m going to stick with my creation theme, and share six recent creations!
1. Jimmy and I attended Fort Ligonier Days on October 12th, and I was “on assignment” for the newspaper, so I created a news report on the fun festival.
2. Jimmy created this outdoor fire pit as a birthday gift for my brother. He has got some serious welding skills.
3. Knowing my brothers affinity for spicy sauces, I created some jalapeno sauce for his birthday.
4. Hannah, Jimmy, and I created a mess trying to carve pumpkins. I’m the only one out of the three of us that actually carved a pumpkin! They both didn’t know what to carve, so they didn’t carve anything, haha. By the way, my carving is supposed to be a flower…
5. My mom and I created fall wreaths together! I might post more about this another time, but it was so much fun. We each made a wreath so she can have one for our house, and I can have one for my house next year.
6. While buying wreath supplies at the craft store, I picked up a sketchbook, and created some silly drawings instead of doing homework. Drawing turned out to be way more fun than doing homework!
What have you created lately?
Whatttt your pumpkins came out so good! Mine always look terrible! I’m not the most artistic person… I love that you’re getting into the fall spirit 🙂
Aww, thank you!! I am sooo getting into the fall spirit! WOO!
I love your Fall wreaths you made! They are so cute and definitely cooler than just buying one at the store (which is what I did last year, still using it too).
It’s so neat that Jimmy is a welder and creates things like fire pits and other neat stuff. That’s gotta be cool to use a fire pit and think about how you made it, or how someone you know made it each time you do.
Thank you! It was a ton of fun to make the wreaths and just laugh and bond haha.
It is pretty cool that Jimmy can create stuff like fire pits. He’s amazing at welding!
Jimmy really made that fire pit?! That’s incredible! I’d pay a lot of money for something that unique. He should start a business!
Yep, he made the whole thing! I think he should start a business, too. He’s welded me a rose (that will never die LOL), made my parents a bench, and now a fire pit. His excuse for not starting that as a business? “I don’t have enough time.” I yi yi!
Tell him I want a coffee table! 😉
Aww, your pumpkin turned out so good! You carved that freehand? I always have to buy one of those pattern books because I’m just not that talented! And I love the wreaths you and your mom made…so pretty!
Thanks, Carli! Yeah, I carved it freehand… I really shouldn’t trust myself with super sharp knives though haha. It was so much fun to make the wreaths with my mom. What a nice bonding experience 🙂
All these things are great, I love creating things! I often draw and have several sketchbooks, definitely better than homework!
I am getting so addicted to drawing in sketchpads! It’s just so relaxing 🙂
That jalapeño sauce sounds delicious! And your pumpkin (I totally see the flower) and wreaths look terrific.
Also, I so want a fire pit! The one Jimmy made looks perfect!
Phew, I’m glad you see the flower in my pumpkin, haha!! Fire pits are the best!
Cute little drawings! And carving pumpkins is a great plan! I really need to get on that for this year!
I remember how cute your pumpkins were last year!
I went to Fort Ligonier days!
No way?! On Saturday?!
Haven’t done any pumpkin carving yet, or any real fall-themed activities. I have doodled though. Love the Pikachu :)!
Aww, I hope you get to do some fall activities soon! Yay for doodling!
