Party Snacks

My mom hosted a 31 party at our house on Saturday, and I thought it would be fun to share some pictures of the food we made for our guests!

I was in charge of the desserts (surprise.. ha) and Hannah and my mom made the appetizers.

Spending time baking and cooking with my mom and sister was a lot of fun. I love them so much. The party itself was a blast, too. Our house was filled with women smiling, talking, and laughing. I enjoyed hanging out with friends and just having a nice time.  It reminded me not to take life too seriously–something I tend to do 😉

What’s your favorite party snack?

  1. This party looks like it was so much fun! Even if I’m not the “life of the party”, I love being around people (esp. family) and just being around laughter and good conversation :). It’s a wonderful feeling,

  2. It looks like you guys had a lot of fun preparing the snacks and having the party :). I really like anything baked or sweet at a party, but I also like those mexican style dips too!

  3. Oh, I love what you wrote at the end! Makes me miss cooking with my mom and sisters! SO many good memories! I’m excited for Christmas already! The holidays are really the only time we are all together to cook these days. Anyway, looks like you ladies had a great time together! 🙂

    1. Awww, I bet you miss your mom and sisters SO much! I know I will miss my family when I move out. It’s all part of growing up, though 😉

I’m excited for Christmas, too! YAY!

  4. It’s awesome when the preparation for a party is just as fun as the party itself. It sounds like you ladies had a really good time putting everything together. 🙂

I always gravitate toward the queso and the artichoke/spinach type dips at parties. They’re my favorite snack!

  5. Check out that SPREAD! Your mama went all out! 🙂 My mom doesn’t have a domestic cooking/entertaining bone in her body, so this NEVER happened in my house when I was at home. I do have to say, when I could eat them, I LOVED those pigs in a blanket. But now, I just like cut up Applegate Farms hot dogs, lol! 🙂

  6. I like the candy corn and M&M’s. I love candy corn because it reminds me so much of fall. I have even thought about having my nails look like candy corn. Your blog is always a fun read.
