Recent Eats

Hey there! Man, school has been keeping me busy lately. I think I’m still getting used to the new semester. Friday wraps up week number two for Penn State. It’s weird to think that some universities don’t start until Monday or Tuesday next week.

Here are some semi-recent eats:mintchipbrowniesMint chip brownies

biscuitsBaking powder biscuits. I found and used my grandma’s recipe, so that was fun and special. (Sorry I look so rough in the picture… that was the day after I had the flu #strugcity. My goofy face shows how excited I was to be able to bake and eat again!)

bananabreadBanana bread made with Hannah! She’s becoming a great little baker.

That’s all I’ve got! I’m headed off to work in a few minutes. Time to motivate people and make em’ sweat!

What’s the best thing you’ve ate recently?

  1. Your food looks really tasty :). I remember seeing a picture of those cookies and getting super jealous, they are Clay’s favorite! And it’s fun that you and Jimmy bake together.

  2. Mint chocolate anything (except for ice cream, weird I know!) is just GREAT, so I say yes please to those brownies! Best thing I have ate recently is a cod dish I had while out at an upscale restaurant the other night!

  3. I haven’t baked anything in so long. That all looks so delicious! The smell of baking banana bread is like no other. Ahh…
The best thing I’ve had recently was my dinner – a stir-fry with chicken, broccoli, peanuts, bell peppers, and scallions with an Asian sauce, served on quinoa!

  4. I’ve tried the Guittard chocolate chips, but not the GREEN kind!!! Those look so pretty, and I love mint chocolate chips :)!

  5. Love apples and peanut butter!! I also love to take a banana, slice it up, put a dollop of peanut butter on each slice, freeze, YUM 🙂
