All the good stuff

My life has been full of good stuff lately!sistertime

Spending time with my sister! She snapped this picture while I was shoving corn bread in my mouth at a restaurant… typical.

It’s officially spring! Even though Pittsburgh has 5+ inches of snow on the ground right now, I’m so glad winter weather is slowly coming to an end.

Bibletime

Bible + coffee + journal time every morning. I love reading my Bible first thing in the morning. It really starts my day off on the right foot.

scarf

Scarves and cardigans. So comfy. That’s not to say that I’m not ready for tank tops and flip flops though!

juiceJuice. I’m slowly turning into a five-year-old with my juice box consumption. I think I embarrassed Jimmy when we went out to Panera Bread and I was sipping on a box of apple juice. That’s okay, no one there knew I’m turning 21 in June.

battlefieldofthemind

This book. I struggle with guilt over everything and anything all the time. This book was recommended to me, and I have been loving it.

Tell me about the good stuff in your life!

More hours

Ello mate.

I have some good news: I got a call last week from my local YMCA and they want me to teach  Wednesday night spin classes every other week. Sweet! I took them up on the offer.

I am loving my job so far! It’s extra fun when my mom, sister, or dad come to my classes because I know they’ll give me honest feedback on how I’m doing.

Sometimes I play certain songs during the class because I know it’s their favorite (my mom loves Tom Petty and my sister likes Miley Cyrus).

Of course my job isn’t always 100% perfect (duh), like last night, I was so tired and not in the mood to teach but once I got on the bike and saw everyone I perked up and even felt energized after the class.

So, I got more hours at work. I wish I had more hours in the day. I feel like my life is a total whirlwind right now!

  • My brother proposed to his girlfriend the day before Easter!
  • I have a few more weeks left of school and it it BUSY!
  • I’ve been trying to make time to do leisurely activities like reading and baking.
  • I only see Jimmy about 1-2x a week (we live 50 minutes apart) and I miss him.

Some pictures:Congrats to my brother and his fiance!

For my kinesology class, the teacher split everyone into groups and we had a scavenger hunt last Friday. We had to take pictures with all of the items. It was fun and totally crazy!

I just finished this book. I loved it! I had no idea that Amanda Beard went through so much in her life and she has really grown to be an awesome person as well as an amazing swimmer. I’d recommend this book to anyone, not just swimmers.

Okay, I’m off to school and then work.

Have a great day!
