Umm, how are there only a few months left in 2025?! October is always beautiful in Pittsburgh. I’m looking forward to fall festivals and even—dare I say it—beginning to think about the holiday season.

Current books Christmas at the Cupcake Cafe, Sadie and I learned about how a pumpkin grows with this book, and Mordecai loves Mighty Dads.
Current drink Starbucks Sunsera coffee beans and this sour hydration drink.
Current baked good Really loving chocolate cherry granola and also baked pumpkin spice cupcakes with maple cinnamon buttercream!
Current indulgence Thinking about Christmas gifts for all the people I love. Dakota really likes baby dolls, so I might order her a birthmark doll that looks like her 🩷
Current need A haircut. I trimmed my hair recently… but it definitely needs a professional’s touch!
Current cuteness Ko Ko hanging out on our bed!

Current joy A date night with Jimmy! I feel like we got to finish 37 conversations we had started but kept getting interrupted before finishing over the past few months.
Current confession Sadie and I did this Lego set together and it was such a brain workout for me 😮💨
Current excitement Planning Mordecai’s birthday party next month. I can’t believe our little guy is going to be three years old already 🥹

Current beauty products Chi Iron Guard for when I curl or straighten my hair, Nexxus Keraphix conditioner, and nail strips! Sadie’s friend came over and the first thing Sadie said to her was “Look at my mom’s nails!” She was so proud 😂

Current obsession Trying out new recipes! I made this pasta last week and I’ll be trying this one tomorrow.
Current blessing Daily Bible study time with the kids! I so love this dedicated time to go through their curriculum and read the Bible with them.
Current kid products The kids have been into using Sadie’s Easy Bake Oven lately. I have just as much fun with it 😬
Current baby product We have this hanging above Dakota’s changing table and she smiles so hard when I turn it on while I change her diaper.
Current fun Library time with the kids! We’re all happy at the library 📚
Current craving I want to take a class to learn something new! I saw an ad for a local soap making class and it sounded so cool.
Current food Toffee crunch peanut butter! Jimmy tried to eat some the other day and I might have threatened his life?!
Current home product Still loving Spiced Harvest all purpose cleaner for mopping our floors 🍂
