I had the best time making a Wonder Woman cake last week! My friend from church was having a first birthday party for her daughter and asked me to bake a Wonder Woman smash cake. Of course I was on board!
I felt kind of emotional making this cake! My friend had wanted a baby for years and went through the tough, all-consuming process of IVF to bring her daughter into this world. (more…)
We’ve been working and playing here in the Zottola household. Jimmy took off of work on Thursday (!) so he could knock out the flooring in baby’s nursery.
First, we had some fun! I went to a prenatal appointment (all is well with baby–yay!) while Jimmy and Sadie went to her weekly art class. I hurried home after my appointment, grabbed coffee for Jimmy and I, and met them at the art studio.
