Hello from me and my little hot cocoa connoisseurs.

I don’t know how or when it started, but both kids enjoy a mug of cocoa in the morning, just like an adult would have their morning coffee. It’s cute! We’ve tried just about every type of cocoa, too: packets, tubs of the mix, homemade mix, and k-cup pods. This week, we added to more cocoa types to our repertoire–homemade (!) hot cocoa bombs and hot cocoa on a spoon. How many times will I say cocoa in this post? Too many! (more…)

Four Ingredient Energy Bites Recipe (No Bake!)

Also known as: my children’s favorite snack at the moment! These little balls of oatmeal goodness are saving my wallet and sanity.

Four ingredient Energy Bites

When the kids say “I’m hungry!” between meals, I can tell them to open the fridge and grab a few energy bites. They call them “ball balls” which is adorable haha. They use inexpensive ingredients and come together so quickly.

They only have four ingredients: oatmeal, peanut butter, honey, and chocolate chips. I feel like they’re fairly nutritious and give the kids a great boost of energy… like they need any more energy 😜 (more…)
