I absolutely love supporting small businesses. Ever since opening my Etsy shop, I’m even more obsessed with shopping small. If there’s something I need, I try to find it locally, handmade, on Etsy, etc. instead of via a “big box” store.
I want to regularly share small businesses that I have personally bought items from and adore! If you have a small business that you enjoy, please share a link in the comments! I’m always looking for someone to support and I’ll try and gather recommendations in one post or page soon 😊
Five Small Businesses I’m Loving
DebianThreads This is an Etsy shop with a unique collection of handmade bags and other sewed items, many of which are crafted from limited materials and re-purposed finds.
Each piece is like functional artwork, with mixed patterns, colors, and textures. I have a purse and essential oil travel case from this shop and both are high quality and so useful!

laukaucreative Looking for the cutest paper goods? Look no further than this Etsy shop. There are so many adorable sticker sheets (think seasonal, birthday, baby, kids, etc.), bucket lists, name tags, school lunchbox notes, and more.
I’ve personally bought stickers from this shop for my sister’s daughter and a set for scrapbooking and they’re high quality and shipped quickly!

The Daily Grace Co. The mission of The Daily Grace Co. is to equip disciples in the Word of God. Can’t get much better than that! I have purchased numerous Bible studies and books from The Daily Grace Co. and each one has been beneficial to my faith, uplifting, and informative.
They also sell home goods, accessories, children’s items, and more!

MaryKay Yes, Mary Kay is a big business, but it’s run by the women who sell the products.
My sister is a consultant for Mary Kay and first introduced me to their products and I absolutely love all of their skincare and makeup. I was skeptical of a multi-level marketing company, but truly impressed with their products!

Pawlicious Pet Food This business is local to the Pittsburgh area, but I just had to mention it in case anyone from the ‘Burgh is reading! Pawlicious is healthy homemade dog food and treats. I have been feeding it to Niva and I can’t believe the difference in her coat and appetite! She used to pick at kibble but she gobbles Pawlicious right up! Her coat is so soft and shiny now, too.
All of the food is made with real ingredients and is human-grade. My mom feeds her dogs Pawlicious, too, and her cocker spaniel’s colitis cleared right up once she started her new diet. Amazing ❤️

Thank you so much for supporting small business. I appreciate your business, Braid Barker. Sumptuous and beautiful products. Keep up the good work
I am amazed at the difference in Niva. I hate the food I feed my cat, but I am too scared to deviate because it’s prescription food. It’s full of garbage though, and I want to make his food! I love these small businesses, always rewarding to support small.
Ah, what a fun idea for a post! I loved Buff City Soap when they were still a small local place here. In the past few years they have gone nationwide which is great, but they aren’t exactly a “small shop” anymore.
