2015 Spartan Race Info and Giveaway

Hey hey! I have some information about the 2015 Spartan Races to share as well as a giveaway. I’ve blogged about the Spartan Race before, but I wanted to let you know about four new updates going on with Spartan Race this year!

Spartan Up Podcast

1. Spartan Up! Podcast
The founder and CEO of Spartan Race, Joe DeSena, is going to have a podcast (starting the first week of January) where he interviews athletes, authors, CEOs, and other leaders to find out what makes the most successful people winners.

I just recently started listening to podcasts while I walk Lola, so I’m definitely going to have to check this out!

2. The Spartan Cruise
The Spartan Cruise is a Caribbean cruise that will feature a private island race. It’s a three day cruise from Miami to Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas from March 6-9, 2015. The race is 3+ miles, 15+ obstacles, and has a $50,000 prize pool with over $24,000 going to the top 5 men and women finishers.

I can just imagine doing a fun obstacle race on white sand in the sunny Bahamas!

3. New World Championship Race Location

The new location for the Spartan World Championship is Lake Tahoe, California. This sounds like it’s going to be a hardcore (and fun!) race with tons of prizes in an absolutely beautiful location.

4. Season Pass
The 2015 Spartan Annual Pass includes unlimited racing, travel discounts, and more. There are Spartan Races all over the country, so being able to race anywhere (and receive travel discounts!) sounds like a blast.
