We made the trek to the Outer Banks for our family summer vacation and had the best time. It’s wild to think that my parents brought me and my siblings to the Outer Banks as we grew up and now we’re bringing our kids there.
It’s really neat to show Sadie all the sights that I loved as a child and see them again through her eyes. (more…)
Tomorrow is the big day: AKA flying to FL with Jimmy!
We leave Pittsburgh at 11:14AM and arrive in Atlanta around 1PM then head to Tampa at 3:25 and get there around 5:45, I believe.
I’m hoping for no delays or crazy luggage loss (this HAS happened to me before…) but I take everything as it comes, it is an adventure!
Today I was at a swim meet BRIGHT and early. (Already warmed up before 8:00AM…) I swam 3 events and didn’t get great times BUT I felt good in the water and my technique was good. I’ll take it!

Today I mostly packed and I also bought some new MUCH NEEDED running shoes 😀

Tonight Jim and I are going ice skating and then of we go tomorrow morning. I’ll try to be posting pictures and giving updates.. but if not, see ya sometime next week!!
