We’ve had a pretty nice week around here! Sometimes the best way to remember these days is through the little moments.

The smiles, the laughter, and the sweet memories! Here’s a few glimpses into our week—our ordinary days and all the moments in between!
We went out for dinner at Eat ‘n Park and Dakota had us laughing because she got her foot up on the table (as usual!) and was acting silly!
We went to Hobby Lobby and Sadie put a leprechaun headband on Dakota. She loved it!
These two are so excited for St. Patrick’s Day. ☘️
I love seeing the girls spend time together in Dakota’s crib each morning. They chat and hang out!
Couldn’t pass up this deal on $3.00 cowboy boots for Dakota!
Sadie and I painted this tea set and had a lovely tea party.
We read the Bible story about the loaves and fishes while we snacked on Goldfish. We had to keep Dakota in her booster seat so she didn’t break any tea cups. 🤣
We had lots of rain so I brought the kids puddle jumping. Mordecai absolutely loved it! I need to get him his own umbrella so he doesn’t have to use Sadie’s rainbow butterfly one, lol. 🦋
Sadie and I did some scrapbooking together. I kind of want to start my own scrapbook. You know, with all my free time. 😉
Mordecai wants to share his salmon!
He is a big fan of painting. He will sit and paint for quite some time.
She kept her hat on for 2.2 seconds. It was cute while it lasted!
A warm weather walk. It was downright dreamy!
My little crew.
She has been enjoying getting outside lately. Me too, Dakota, me too!
I could watch them play all day. It’s the sweetest.
I am very invested in coming up with the perfect chocolate chip cookie. This experiment involved 72 hours of chilling the dough, Danish butter with 85% butterfat, two types of chocolate, and a sea salt topping!
Helloooo chocolate chip cookies! They were good, but nothing to write home about. Maybe my standards are too high at this point. 😆
We went to the playground and Dakota parked herself under the play structure for a bit. It wasn’t long before she was climbing the steepest steps and made her way onto a bench all by herself. Helpppp!
A rare glimpse of sunshine in Pittsburgh. A miracle! ☀️
Sadie found my childhood stuffed dog, aptly named Polka Dot Puppy, and said “Wow, this must have been made way back before sewing machines were invented!” I felt veryyyy old after that comment!
We visited a new soda shop! It was inside a marketplace and there was also duckpin bowling in the next business suite. We didn’t have it in us to try to bowl that night (Dakota is a wiggle worm!), but definitely want to go back for a date night or a night with our bigger kids.
Another hat for Dak! She also kept this one on for 2.2 seconds, ha!
Other Notes and Thoughts 📝
- Scripture I’m loving: Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24 🙏🏻
- I read the kids Joseph and His Wonderful Coat and was thinking I want to re-read the account of Joseph. If anyone thinks the Bible is boring, they should go read about Joseph’s life! 🤯
- 13 days until the first day of spring! I was outside cleaning up our backyard and cracking up. There was a sled, hot tub toys, and all sorts of random things on the ground! 🤣
- Sadie and I each did a page in this axolotl sticker book and had a blast making a scene with the cute stickers. 😊
- I want to make tuscan tortellini soup soon! 🤤
Aaaand that’s a wrap! We are having Dakota’s birthday party at our favorite ice cream shop today. I can’t wait to celebrate our little one and spend time with family. 🥰

I love all the pics! My fav is the three of them lined on the bikes and Dakota in the stroller.
Love You!
