Thank you to everyone who commented on my last post. I really appreciate it! I’d like to say that things are back to “normal” around here, but four victims are still in the hospital. Ugh. Please continue to keep this situation in your prayers.

So, guess who got to spend the weekend with my family… Moses!
He’s my brother’s golden retriever… except he’s white. He’s also awesome. I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this, but Moses was re-homed. He used to be a therapy dog for a child with cystic fibrosis, and the parents ended up having another child and decided to re-home Moses to my brother! He is such a sweet dog and I love him so, so much.
I walked Lola, Brandy, and Moses together on Friday and it was amazing. I loved every second of it, haha! I had Lola on my hands-free leash so I could hold Brandy and Moses’ leashes in my hands. I think I got a few laughs from people who drove past me. We only had two moments where I thought walking three dogs at once was not the smartest idea ;-).
My family has been enjoying Moses’ personality all weekend…
He also gets along really well with Brandy and Lola. Moses and Brandy are two peas in a pod when they’re together. They play outside for hours, while Lola is content to lay by my feet while I do homework. She’s my girl!
Have I ever mentioned that I love dogs? Ha… 🙂
Alright, I am going to get ready for church this morning! This week some of my family from New York will be visiting and staying for my bridal shower + Resurrection Sunday next weekend! It’s going to be a blast!
How is/was your weekend?!
Aww I’m glad you got a furry visitor over the weekend, with everything else going on. I hope the cute face brightened your day!
Moses is too cute! Although I am a major cat-lover, dogs are pretty cool too 🙂 My weekend is pretty laid back. I love it!
Aww, golden Retrievers are such lovely, gentle dogs! 🙂
AHHH BRIDAL SHOWER!!! SOON YOU WILL BE ALL GROWN UP!!!
…I love golden retrievers too! Mine’s name is Murphy =)
I am intrigued by CF since one of my best friends has it… is the boy still alive? He doesn’t need the therapy dog anymore? My friend has one because he has lost some of his hearing from his medications. Moses sure is cute, though! 🙂
I’m not 100% sure, but I do believe he’s still alive. Want to hear something amazing? My kinesology professor has cystic fibrosis. She was born with it, and not expected to live past her teens but she is now a healthy woman in her 30s!! She told me that exercise has been the best thing for her because it loosens the phelm in her lungs. She also told me that doctors have found a cure for one of the cystic fibrosis genes that people have. I guess there are a few genes that can cause it, so they’re definitely working on a cure for all of them!
I’m not sure if they boy needed Moses to care for him; I think it was more about comfort, if that make sense?! I agree that he’s cute, too!! I also think that it’s awesome that you do so much for the CF foundation by raising money and doing races. I really admire that about you, Nikki!!
Aw!!! Moses sounds great!! I love dogs, and anyone who loves dogs! Though we joke frequently that if dog hair was currency we’d never have to work and that we have to cover our white couches with cloth for fear of muddy paws, Zuzu is worth it. I’d love to train a dog to be a therapy dog one day, I think that would be so rewarding. Anyway, I hope you have a lovely week and amazing bridal shower! Enjoy every engaged minute 🙂
They are so cute!! All of them. I love how Moses is lounging around in most of the pictures. He’s like, “I’m tireeeeed. I’ll just relax for a awhile.”
You should become a dog walker!!!! 🙂 You would be so good at it!
Moses is such a cutie! Also, that hands free dog leash is so cool! I’ve never heard of those before!
Such cuties your lil doggies are! I’ll be visiting Ottawa on Easter weekend. Looking forward to it.
OH MY gosh, this dog is so cute. I love how he just seems to “flop” wherever!
Just lovely (your dogs I mean). Happy Easter to all of you!
