Woo! I got through Monday… how did I do it? I don’t know. It was a rough day, especially because I didn’t feel so hot. Hannah had a mucus ball in her nose and I had a sore throat. Yuck. Here’s the verse from Monday:
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love. Deuteronomy 7:9
I love that verse because it is so clear… God is God. He is faithful. He will always love us. Plus it’s in the New Testament, which is my favorite :). Breakfast was quite yummy as always. (Favorite meal of the day) I had chex cereal with soymilk, hot tea with honey, and an apple with none other than … nutella! After breakfast I headed off to school (for the first round..) I attended english class, art, and took my psychology test. I hope I did okay… I’ll find out in January. Thank you Penn State for being so huge. As I cut my apple in the morning I got a nasty cut from the apple wedger, which wasn’t so fun to swim with in the afternoon. . I headed home and had lunch then I was off to work 5-10PM.
Luckily I got some visitors… 🙂
Boy was it nice to have company .. 5 hours is a long time dealing with people.. for me at least! I suppose cause i’m shyyyy 🙂
Onto today.. which isn’t over yet! I woke up fairly well and had some maple organic cereal with soymilk then scrambeled eggs and hot chocolate and I was off to a math quiz and philosophy.. oh joy. Classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays KILL me .. I don’t know why! Maybe because they are an hour and 15 minutes? Probably. Here’s the Bible verse of the day!
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:20
This verse is comforting because this world isn’t our home, and Jesus is waiting for us in a better home! Love. it. On my way to school I noticed .. it was FOGGY.
I made it through the eeriness though, and arrived at Penn State for another day of learning.
After doing okaaaay on the math quiz I headed to the library to munch on pineapple and trail mix. I did some homework and off I went to philosophy. I was at the water fountain and a boy was filling up his water bottle and a smell wafted up from him.. an amazing smell. What was it? Peanutbutter and Jelly! WOW! I told him it smelled soo good and he was like “yup, and it tastes good too!” Jealousy.
After classes I was headed to my vehicle and I saw the campus was starting to look all fall-ish like New England does at this time of year
Here is some of the foliage in the woods 🙂
Pretty, right? How can people say their isn’t a God after they see the seasons change? I’m not to sure. So, I just had lunch. (Tomato soup and a sandwich.. plus various snacks… !) I have a date with my notebooks. And maybe Lola .. she needs a walk. I believe I am trying a new swim team tonight. I’ll let you know how that goes!
