Spanish final

I’m alive

It’s true. I’m still alive. I just haven’t blogged in a few days because I’ve been busy having fun!

Summer has officially started for me. My Spanish final was on Thursday and it was tough. It was 145 questions and took me 1.5 hours. I was exhausted and brain dead after taking it. I got an 85% though, so I’m happy.

This past weekend was amazing and just plain fun. I didn’t turn on my computer or stress about anything and it felt so good.

On Friday I swam for a little in the morning, got my eyes checked (20/20 vision, yay!), picked Hannah up from school, went out to eat with my family, and got to see my best friend for a little bit at the mall.

Saturday can be summed up in pictures:I worked at Jimmy’s family’s shop from 7am-12pm. We had to run to Home Depot and I saw a little cactus so Jimmy bought it for me. We also went on a trail run together (well.. Jimmy biked and I ran) and saw a snake. Fun stuff!

Saturday was also spent playing with street bikes, Rzr’s, and riding in Mustangs. I guess it was a vehicle binge kind of day?

On Sunday I went to church, grilled out with my family, took Lola on a trail walk, and washed my truck.

Today is my day off of work but this is my work schedule for the week:

  • Monday: off!
  • Tuesday: Teach spinning @ 6:15
  • Wednesday: teach spinning @ 4:30 and 7:15
  • Thursday: teach spinning @ 6:15
  • Friday off!

Not too shabby! Well, this post is long enough and I have a few errands to run today so I better get going.

Have a great day!

Life stuff

This has been my life lately:Studying for my Spanish final! I find that I focus more when I switch up where I study. One day I’ll hit up the library, another day I’ll chill in a coffee shop, and sometimes I just stay home and study. I definitely get super distracted at home though.

Since my brain is dead, here’s a small photo-dump:My mom and I went to Hannah’s track meet on Tuesday and had a blast. Hannah ran the 100m hurdles, the mile (her time was 7:07… amazing!), the 800m, and the 4x400m relay. She’s a beast. Go Hannah.

Jimmy and I took Lola to a local park. I had never been to this park and it’s only 15 minutes from my house… I need to get out more haha.

Spring flowers make me happy 🙂 Pittsburgh has been having some really great weather lately (according to me because I love hot weather) with high’s in the mid 80’s!

Bible verse of the day:Luke 16:13
