Christmas 2014. If I could describe it in five words I would use these: happy, blessed, sickly, fun, and relaxing.
Wait… sickly? Yes. Poor Jimmy came home from work on Christmas Eve and wasn’t feeling good. By the 26th, we were at Med Express getting him swabbed for the flu. He got it. He’s on Tamiflu now, and we’re crossing our fingers I don’t catch it as well, buuut I’m sure it’s only a matter of time. It happens!
Ahhh, what a weekend! Jimmy and I had my family over on Saturday for a little fall party. It was really nice to spend time with them! I know I mention this a lot, but I miss my family so much.
Before I moved out, I was extremely close with my family. We spent most of our time together when I wasn’t at school (because my parents have a home-based business), and now I mostly see them for a few minutes at church. It’s hard living far apart now. It definitely makes me cherish every single moment I get to spend with them!
Anyways, Hannah planned the party and it included games, coloring pages, and a full dinner and dessert menu. I think she would make a great event organizer one day, haha.
