We are continuing to make progress on the bathroom renovation!
Jimmy and his dad finished putting the tile on the walls and installed the new vanity top. Since we had to custom order it (due to the dimensions of our bathroom), it took about a month to come in. We were nervous to see how it would look since we only saw a small sample of the marble in the store. Thankfully, we love it!

Choosing a paint color was tough! Jimmy had originally wanted to go with a light blue, but the walls we already light blue when we moved in, so we were kind of over it. He totally surprised me when he suggested purple, so we made a trip to Lowe’s to check out paint samples.
I put a few paint samples on the walls, and we settled on gothic amethyst by Olympic. Not too purple-y for a bathroom, I think. I’m really excited to see what the walls will look like when we’re done.

Since we picked a color theme and I had some birthday gift cards, I bought a few new towels, wall art, a shower curtain, and made a DIY decoration. All that’s left is painting the walls and installing fixtures like a towel rack, toilet paper holder, vent, and a new fan. Slowly but surely, we’re getting there!
Edited to add: right after I posted this, I totally noticed I spelled “household” wrong in the graphic at the top of this post, ha! Sorry 🙂
