September Family Night: Celebrating Sadie’s Birthday

We had another lovely family night! This month, we went to a slime shop to celebrate Sadie’s birthday.

We gave her a bunch of options to celebrate her actual birthday as a family (going out to eat, trampoline park, movies, etc.) and she chose the slime shop that we always pass by in the mall and never go to, lol.

In a slime shop, a worker basically guides a child through making their own slime. It was pretty cool! Sadie got to pick the texture, colors, add-ins, and scent. She got to wear a little lab coat and safety glasses, too. Too cute!

Once she was done creating her slime, we played in the store for a bit. There was a Lego wall, kinetic sand bins, a giant Lite Brite table, and other sensory activities.

It was a fun evening as a family and we loved celebrating our Sadie girl 💜

  1. What a cute idea! I would have loved this. I remember going to the bowling alley, water parks, Chuck e cheese like places (lol) for birthdays. One friend invited me to a place called libby lus where they did your hair with crazy accessories and glitter 😂
