I opened the refrigerator to make breakfast yesterday and found Malcolm’s dry food in the fridge. Jimmy must have been really tired when he fed him before he left for work!
Jimmy is known to leave things in strange places early in the morning. He once poured iced tea into a water bottle and set the pitcher on top of the fridge instead of back inside it.
We had a busy day yesterday! Sadie, Niva, and I drove out to a local park to meet up with other moms at our church for Youth Summer Days. We had such a great time talking, playing, and relaxing with everyone!
Sadie is related to most of the kids her age out our church so she got to hang out with a few of her cousins! She and Caroline, my sister’s daughter, even got to ride in a double stroller together.
After we left the park, we drove home, took a quick shower, and I dropped her off at Jimmy’s work so his dad could take her home with him (they work together!) and my in-laws watched Sadie for the evening.
So, so thankful for a night off and that she got some quality time with her grandparents! She got quite the royal treatment, too. They went shopping at Rural King and got to see the little chicks, went out to eat, and even stopped to smell some roses 🙂
Jimmy and I had quite the wild night to ourselves. I had to do some real estate work and I brushed out a bit of Niva’s undercoat. Party animals over here 😉
I finished up my work just in time for us to go to Hobby Lobby before they closed. I was on a mission to get another stepping stone kit so we could make a mold of Sadie’s foot print like we did last year.
It was a full, fun, and awesome day!
Quite the day!
Looks like the kids and everyone had a good time!
Yeah I have done the same as Jimmy with items in the fridge verses cabinets!
Not from being tired but from not thinking about what I’m doing and thinking about other things or talking on the phone!
Love 💕

🙂
It really was! So glad you can relate to Jimmy with putting things in strange places, haha! Too funny that for you it’s usually when you’re on the phone or deep in thought! Love you! ❤
I left my Turkey Hill Ice Cream in the fridge once. Melted ice cream is a no go.
Aw man! And Turkey Hill is the good stuff too!!
Wow, Sadie has grown SO much! Haha!
So glad to see you and your family doing so well 🙂 and I’m glad to be back to blogging again after such a long hiatus. Gives me the opportunity to catch up with you!
This is P from Will Study for Food by the way—except now I’m back with a new blog, Second Gen Desi!
Hi P!! Yay, I am soo glad you’re back to blogging! Can’t wait to check out your new blog! ❤
That picture of her sniffing the flower is toooooo cute! Sounds like a busy day. And I like that Jimmy keeps you on your toes with fridge (and non-fridge) placement. I do that sometimes too.
It’s one of my new favorite pictures! It was definitely a good, busy day! Jimmy really does keep me on my toes with his morning antics, haha! I’m glad he’s not the only one 😉
Love this post! The picture of Sadie smelling the roses is priceless!!
When I have a night off, we usually end up going out to eat or something. And maybe shopping together!
Aww, thanks Han! Going out to eat + shopping sounds like the perfect combo for a night off!
Haha! Party animals indeed! I do love all the family you guys have nearby (both at church and with work)! 🙂
