Our Christmas 2019

Hi! I hope everyone who celebrated had a lovely Christmas!

Ours was wonderful and everything I could have hoped for and more. We spent time at church on Christmas Eve, got together with our families, and enjoyed celebrating the birth of Jesus. I have a few pictures and a video to share 🙂

  1. Sadie’s Christmas outfits are on point! This year we did Christmas at my parents in Chicago. It’s always a whirlwind but it’s so nice to partake in the traditions we have and see my family.

    1. Hahah, thanks Maureen! I love dressing her up, and the holidays are especially fun in that regard! I’m already pumped for Valentine’s Day outfits, lol.

So glad you were able to see your family in Chicago this Christmas!

  2. The video and photos are adorable! 🙂 I’m glad you had such a lovely, cozy Christmas with your family. Sadie looks like she soon got the hang of opening presents!

My Christmas was a lot quieter than expected, as my sister, husband and their children all came down with a nasty flu virus and have been sick for the past week. 😦 Hoping they recover soon so we can ‘reschedule’ Christmas Day for them!

    1. Thanks, Grace! I almost didn’t put together a video, but now I’m so glad I did! I already enjoy looking back on our first Christmas in 2018, and now we have another one documented to look back on! Sadie was really enjoying opening presents after she got the idea of how it went. Soon enough she was opening my mother-in-law’s gifts and mine as well, haha!

I’m so sorry your sister’s family was sick with a flu virus. That’s no fun, but especially over the holidays. It had to be so tough for them all around–with kids being so excited for Christmas and then the parents trying to take care of their children while being sick. I hope they are all recovered now so you can all celebrate together!

  3. Look at all those babies and all those dogs! What a joy-filled full house when you are all together. 🙂 Also, Sadie’s stacking skills are impressive! And she clearly had such a wonderful Christmas!
