Hi everyone! It’s me, Lola. I haven’t posted on my fur mom’s blog in a while, so I figured it was time to share some pictures.
Have I mentioned that I’m a pretty relaxed little gal? I’m content to sit around and watch my fur parents eat dinner each night. This is one of my favorite sitting positions…
My fur parents laugh at me for some reason? I don’t get it.
Anyways, I sat on my fur dad’s lap the other night and it was awesome. I usually snuggle with my fur mom, but she was out pet sitting that night. I get kind of huffy when she comes home and smells like other dogs. Rude.
The only time it’s okay with me that my fur mom pet sits is when she brings my friends over for a play date. This week she brought Haley over and we went on a walk. We’re basically twins, except her fur is brown and mine is black.
Wherever there’s food, I’m there. My fur mom was eating her lunch on the couch the other day, so I hopped up next to her and waited patiently to see if she would feed me any crumbs. Sometimes I get lucky, sometimes I don’t. I never steal food, though. I used to back in the puppy days. I’m way more sophisticated now.
Well, I better get going. I have a long day ahead of me. I need to eat my breakfast, nap, and protect the house while my fur parents are working. I’ll leave you with one last picture of me. I was on a walk this week and just wanted to soak up the sunshine.
It was a great day. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
From Lola with love ❤
She’s so healthy for an old girl 🙂 love and miss her so much!!
She really is! She loves and misses you, too!
Hello again Lola! This is Sterling (Ellie’s cat) and I just stole one of the dates she was soaking on the counter and played with it for a while, until I decided I don’t want to eat a date…so now it’s just sitting on the floor. Now I’m going to play with Ellie’s hair as she watches her Snapchat story. My claws are really good for that.
Ok, I just saw a string so I have to go play with it. Bye!
Hi Sterling! You are quite the little rascal, aren’t you?!
Lola, you’ve got a great life going on over there and you’re living it to the fullest, which is just what you should be doing. Your parents adore you and you make them so happy.
Awwww, thank you Amy!
Love it – “I get kind of huffy when she comes home and smells like other dogs”. If I’ve been near another dog during the day, when I get home my lab gives me the sort of look a girlfriend gives when she knows you’re ben cheating on her!
Hahaha, that’s exactly what Lola does!! She gives me some dirty looks! What kind of lab do you have?!
Is ‘self-cleaning off-white’ a breed? It’s probably safest to say his mother was a lab and his sire was … anyone’s guess! His coat is a sort of cream/off-white, and he’s very affectionate. He’s the only self-cleaning dog I’ve ever met. He can spend all day wading through mud or playing under a truck, and be tied up for the night filthy with dirt and smeared with engine grease, and by the next morning his coat will be spotless.
That’s too funny, Stephen! It must be that Labrador water resistant coat! My brother has an English cream golden Retriever and he’s the same way! He is white and dirt just dries on him and literally falls off!
Aww sweet Lola! So good to hear from you! Oreo understands how insulting it is when his mom comes home smelling like other pets. Just rude. 😉
So glad Oreo understands!! 😉
